It's a 7 disc set, so presumably at least 7 films, and if they covered each year, then these would be my guesses

Yeah, I had switched up Half a Loaf to Snake and Crane Arts of Shaolin right before you replied, though I don't know if the rights to that are with someone else too. Hard to keep track. Forgot about The Young Master being with Criterion as well. That only leaves Battle Creek Brawl for that year then.

It's possible, if not likely that we'll see a few from one year, and maybe a year or two might be skipped.

Yeah, I think that's likely. I'm curious to see how many films we'll be getting and if it's more than 7. Wonder how many collections we'll be getting. Also Arrow has a Jackie Chan set in the works as well, so it sounds like 2023 is going to be Jackie Chan heavy.

Do you think Miramax lost Dragon Lord or if SF is licensing from Paramount? Because the latter would open the door to the other Miramax JC titles.

I say the 8 titles previously released by SF are the most likely, and Dragon Lord. Though it seems generous of them to spread 9 films across 7 discs, so maybe there are more.

I think Miramax has lost almost all of their HK titles I believe, which is why most of them are getting released by other labels now.

I already have most of these from 88 Films so I will probably pass on this collection unless there is something truly special about it. It is nice that these films are coming out in the US though.

Excellent! Even though I have 20 films with Jackie in my collection, there are so many early films of his I haven't seen. I have thought about importing some of them but now I can just wait for these sets. I hope we get multiple volumes!

I didn't get into 88 until after most of their Chan onslaught was already out--funnily enough, I have two on order at Diabolik (Killer Meteors and Dragons Forever) which are the first I've owned, I believe. So this will be a great way to fill in that gap!

Looking forward to see what titles are included. I picked up a lot of the 88 Films titles but passed on some of the early era ones. It'll be nice to grab the rest of the titles in a presumably slim package, although I'm sure there will be at least a little overlap with what I've already purchased.

It's pretty much insane how many of his films don't have Blu-rays in the US, so hopefully these sets fill in those gaps.

I wonder if there will be other sets for other actors as well. Maybe Sammo Hung, etc. It was made to seem like Criterion has Eastern Condors, but maybe it's Shout?
