I updated how the releases with problems section is organized. If anyone finds error with it just let me know.

We do have an established Made for TV movies on blu-ray thread:

TV Movies on blu-ray

I know that, but I may as well include them here.
Edit: Wait, why did you specifically reply to that message?

Is that fair to the earlier, established thread to just
duplicate its contents elsewhere?

Try to think.
I am not copying that persons list this is a different list that seems to also include television films.

And I was not asking about problems with the criteria, I was asking about if there were any problems with how the “problems” section is organized.

I don't think one thread will be depriving the other of views, if people are specifically interested in TV movies they'll go to the other thread, if they are interested in old TV more generally they'll probably want everything including TV movies (it'd seem pretty silly to have a thread that was 'all TV on blu-ray up to 1980 except for TV movies'). I think it would be good to put a link to the TV movies thread in the OP though, in the interests of giving credit where credit is due and also letting people know that thread exists if they hadn't seen it.

Where are your manners? It is rude and inappropriate to duplicate
-- hijack -- a previously established thread.

Perhaps I'll do the same to you. I will expand the boundaries of my
thread to include TV series on blu-ray. See how you like it.

As I said in my last comment, there should definitely be a link to your thread in the OP, but if Blu-ray monster does that I don't think there's anything wrong with adding titles from that thread here--it's natural that if people create threads for different genres/subject matter and there's overlap in a venn diagram of the two, there will be duplication. If someone created a "1940s movie on blu-ray" thread would it be wrong of them to use a previous "film noir on blu-ray" thread to help find titles, assuming they linked to it? Or if someone writes a wikipedia article and some of the material in it is relevant to a different article, would it be wrong for a different editor to port over the material? (something that is in fact generally accepted in the wikipedia community, as long as some attribution is given)

When you have a community where people post their research for free for public benefit, I don't think there's any generally-accepted code of manners that says it's wrong for others to reuse/remix that free information for their own projects as long as they give credit and aren't just creating an exact duplicate. And as I said before I don't think this thread will cause your thread to have less views, assuming Blu-ray monster gets it into reasonably complete form (though they haven't added anything to the OP in a week so who knows).

I have added a link, I have been busy. Everything up to the end of the 60s is complete. I just have the 70s to do.

Also I wasnt even copying info from that thread. Everything was either from the advanced search or peoples suggestions.

Might be useful to check the other thread at some point, as there are things that were made for TV but aren't labeled with the "television" tag in the database.

Aside from TV movies, here are a few more from the 60s:

Missing “The Californians” (1957). Season 1 was released on blu ray in 2017 and season 2 in 2018.

BTW I think this one should be removed since it seems to have actually been a series of theatrical cartoons that later showed up on TV (see the review here and the Big Cartoon Database listing here), rather than something made for TV:

Here's the links for "The Californians" that Larry.P mentioned:

And searching the database for 1940-1969 blu-rays labeled "television" turned up a few more things from before 1970 that haven't been included/mentioned yet:

And the Rawhide collection is mostly DVDs but it's said to include four episodes on blu-ray (running the amazon.de page through google translate, it says it contains "a bonus Blu-Ray which contains four selected episodes in HD quality"):

I also thought of searching the site for networkonair.com since they release a lot of British series on blu-ray, searching specifically for tv shows on blu before 1970 gives a lot of false hits but a few things that were on TV and didn't show up on the search of the blu-ray.com database:

Ok, there is no evidence of bu-ray releases of casino royale, Stawka większa niż życie, the californians, or the vise actually existing though. I will add these ones from that list though and remove the theatrical shorts.

Casino Royale may be a listing for something that was never actually released, but Stawka większa niż życie has copies available on ebay (apparently I can't link directly to an eBay search but here's one listing), the amazon page for the Californians season 1 includes a customer review that specifically discusses the picture quality on the blu-ray version (season 2 doesn't but it does at least list a specific release date) and The Vise is available on networkonair.com.

On the original release, episode 17 on disc 1 had dialogue but missing music and sound effects, as mentioned in this article. Warner did offer a disc replacement program, and newer sets are sold with the corrected disc (I ordered mine from amazon on Oct 9 2022 and I just confirmed that episode 17 has normal music and sound effects). Looking through the thread for the Flintstones set, before the release there were worries that the episodes would be missing the prologues before the intro sequence (apparently they're missing from the streaming version), but once the set was released someone confirmed they were all included. But this post says there's a serious issue with "The Rock Quarry Story" on disc 2 where "music and sound effects are almost non-existent", I watched my copy and did notice scenes where I could hear some very faint music in the background of the dialogue, much quieter than music in other episodes, so it seems likely this was an error they didn't correct. Likewise there was the same issue with "The Soft Touchables" on disc 3.

There were also concerns early on that too many episodes were crammed on a disc, but once people got to see it most people on the thread seemed to agree they looked good for the most part, as did the reviews from sites like blu-ray.com and thedigitalbits.com, although some noted a dip in quality in the last seasons (5 and 6) with some speculating it was because of rumors that the Warner Archive Collection had handled the first seasons but then Warner Home Video took over the project for the last. Another possible issue, though this was a choice by Warner Bros. rather than an error, is that in addition to the original series the set also included the 2015 cartoon "The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age Smackdown" and the 1966 TV movie "The Man Called Flintstone", and this review says they were both in SD rather than HD. This review also says that "Unfortunately, the closing credits have not been restored with accuracy for the first 2 seasons. Although the animation for the closing credits is correct, the credits have been recreated with incorrect writers and artists being credited." Finally, there were some reports on the thread of zooms and aspect ratio shifts that weren't in the originals, this post says it may be because the post-production supervisors weren't doing their job.

Also these need to be added to the OP as well:

Don't know how picky we want to get about the OP, but just FYI - Superman wasn't a TV show, it was a series of theatrical shorts before TV became mainstream
