Fearless Vampire Killers and Cabaret are the two I'd really like to see released over here. Have recently been eyeing up the Spanish release of the later, but might hold off for now.

Think the only one I've previously imported was Sunset Boulevard.
The WB release is region free and still in print, so not sure why you’d need to get a Spanish bootleg. Also doesn’t Sunset Boulevard have a UK release from Paramount?

Nice to see this line finally coming to the UK, just a bit gutted that the Premium Collection appears to be dead.

Yeah I hope the current Premium Collection at least stays in print for a while.

On the plus side, more film noir without having to import, hopefully The Big Sleep makes it back as I missed the PC version.

Has anybody ever pre-ordered anything on Warner's website? Do they charge upfront?

I think we said the same about the Criterion Collection, where we haven't had so many releases due to licencing, but if the Archive can match the US releases and get the back catalogue, I think we'll be happy campers.

Oh well, I'll have to stick to the likes of Deep Discount and Wow HD.

Wasn't aware it was a bootleg, but really liked the slip cover. Assumed it contained the same two discs from the digi-book release.

Sunset Boulevard does indeed have a UK release from Paramount, but I preferred the classic WB artwork and the thinner case.

I have 78 WAC titles, I am too lazy to post a list!

Although the majority are here:

As long as the spines line up on the new UK releases, I'll happily switch to UK where available

Having already got The Naked Spur and Ladies They Talk About in their US editions, I'd just like to say no-one in the UK should be hesitating about picking these up on day one.

I have mixed feelings about this. Though mostly positive.

So the over-riding reason I imported WB Archive releases in the first place was because of the lack of availability in the UK. Which was partly (but never fuly) covered by HMVs Premium Collection. So I ended up with a few duplicates because I used to be more impulsive regarding my purchases (Hello Wow HD).

Although some WB Archive imports won't be reproduced uncut here. A good example being Far From The Madding Crowd which I did import primarily knowing the BBFC would cut it.

Imported mainly Noirs and 30s 40s titles with a few exceptons Brewster McCloud being one. So i'll be buying Naked Spur and Ladies they Talk About from the first UK Batch. I haven't imported for a while so I'm happy to see what WB bring here.

Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House I'll hopefully get. I'm wondering if this UK arm of the WAC will be just film titles and no TV on Blu-ray titles (thinking of iZombie and Riverdale (the seasons which had Blu-ray releases in the States).

The banner on the main page of the website says "the Warner Bros. Archive Collection brings rare motion pictures and television to DVD and Blu-ray...", so one would think the option is at least open for TV to be released. Then again, they haven't announced any DVD releases yet, so maybe they just cut and pasted this from bumpth written for the US site.

Is there anything on how the manufacturing is being done? If the packaging is being factory-replicated that might put as big a dent in the potential scale of this as the BBFC's fees.
