We should all try to be patient with peeps as they go through the five stages of grieving:

Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance.

It sounds like he is in the bargaining phase, with his insistence on certain pricing/title-availability happen.

They were cheaper to produce, but that never materialized to consumers.

You've never seen Harry, huh?

The word "lacking" doesn't apply to his, um, physique.

Thats because HD DVD had to make money somewhere. They sold their players so damn cheap that they had to charge a higher price most of the time just to make some money.

FOUR HD DVD players? Geeze, Harry has been drinking the reddest of the red kool-aids. At least he has plenty of back up players. He's going to need them!

He's not a sore loser, he's just stating his hopes for blu-ray. I, too, have expectations for BD now that the war is over. I hope for more reasonable prices for older titles (GLARES AT FOX), more classics, and price drops on players to celebrate the victory.

I do hope that BDA rewards the "foot soldiers" that helped fight the battle for them.
