I want the Bourne Trilogy with maxed bitrates and uncompressed pcm. If they do that, I will be rid of my HD DVD versions in a heartbeat.

Maybe--but there's no way I'm spending my hard-earned cash on substandard HD DVD ports (and let's face it, Universal's rep for PQ & AQ is the worst out there). Universal has lots of movies in their catalog that I'd like to add to my Blu-ray collection, but they'll have to be a worthwhile improvement over the DVD versions.

High bit-rate AVC or VC1 encodes with lossless audio, please. I want my next gen media to the high definition in all respects!

Right. The review of American Gangster mentioned just a regular DD 5.1 soundtrack, fer cryin out loud. (That and the extended cut was on the DVD side only; only the regular cut was hi-def-ed.) Just one example.

Not sure if 12 Monkeys could come out better, but it was pretty disappointing all in all; some signs of hi-def PQ, but not a lot. Maybe they could do the Blu better.

The two Elizabeth films are worthwhile. As are the three Bourne's.

And I'd like to see some primo Hitchcocks in hi def. Plus Back To The Future, A Beautiful Mind, Gladiator, Jaws, Mulholland Drive, Repo Man, Scarface, To Kill A Mockingbird. Those I'd definitely buy.

Aside from the classics that were already getting (Jaws, ET, etc).

Im I the only one that wants Bring It On (original) on BD? I still got my deep crush with Kirsten Dusnt and Elisha Dusku in that movie.

As I've often posted, I want "The Shadow" on Blu. We didn't even get a proper widescreen DVD in the US, but I'm hoping Universal will release it in HD, sooner rather than later.

The Paper, a Ron Howard film. All we ever got on DVD was a pan and scan version.
