I doubt there are any rumors that speculate all the way to 2020.

what are you talking about dude? I just ran a quick Google search and came up with several links indicating a "before 2020" release date.

That's kind of vague. So, sometime in the next 11 years? That's helpful. You can ask me pretty much any good movie from the past 15 years and I can say it will probably be out in the next decade with good certainty . As long as Blu-ray is still around in 15 years.

But thanks for the thread, I keep a list of my own to track and can't believe this one was not on there.

Sorry, have not heard a thing about this movie on Blu. I think catalog action and sci-fi flicks are still the driving force in blu until it catches on more.

My guess is that this will come out around the same time Speilberg's movies hit blu. So probably 2010 or 2011.

Just watched this for the first time, believe it or not, a couple of nights back. It was in HD on Sky Movies. I have to say I thought it was brilliant, for lots of different reasons. I liked the story first and foremost, the acting was superb, I liked the "feel" of the film, and the comedy was hilarious:- "Oh YES, f**k me your Majesty"!!!!!

Will definately be getting it when it comes out on blu-ray.

I am looking forward to owning American Beauty on Blu-Ray. I don't own it on DVD...so this would be the time to pick it up. I hope it comes out soon.
