Glad i wasn't the only one that noticed that all they did was talk smack of the ps3 and praise the 360. I can't wait for ps3 to dominate this year so IGN can eat there word, and hide in there offices hugging there 360 and assuing themselves that it will be ok when it RROD's
also ps3 is at 56%

PS3 fo' sho'. I think Sony should buy Nintendo and Sega therefore, we can have great well-known titles on a great system with great quality.

In addition, MS does not own Gears of War, Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Too Human, Jade Empire, and Fable. MS paid a lot of money for Xbox 360 exclusivity.

My vote is for ps3.
I totally agree. You slap a sensor bar and Wii controls to a PS2 and you have a technically superior system. That says a lot.

I was saying Sony should buy Nintendo and Sega, and not pay them to make exclusives for PlayStation brand. As for the MS comment, one person mention Xbox 360 had great titles, but I was trying to explain that they are not owned by MS, just timed exclusives. There is a difference between having timed exclusives and actually owning the company.

So Toshiba buying off Paramount/Dreamworks = bad
but
Sony buying sega and nintendo = good?

i'm pretty sure he means buy as in OWN. or take over. just like ea wants rockstar. Toshiba didn't buy paramount, they paid them for exclusivity. toshiba would have to pay a helluva lot more than 150mil to own paramount.

Just voted, PS3 is at 71%.

What is up with this "dizzying number of different versions of the PS3" shit?
There are 2 discontinued models, and 2 models on the actual market with only a few discernible features. WTF is so dizzying? Of course there is no mention of the 360's models, or anything negative for that matter. IGN sucks and I hope the PS3 stays at 71%

Well to me yes, it’s just like HD DVD versus Blu-ray, 1 format is better for the consumer, same goes for the consoles, 1 is better. If there were a dominant format or a single format, then more companies would support it, and spend more time on it to make it perfect. Look at Xbox 360, companies create better games for it and with better quality than its ports, and Xbox 360 has more downloadable content for their games. Production costs goes down if you focus on one format than multiple. In addition, I personally hate Microsoft.

You also wrote Toshiba paying off Paramount = bad, my question is why, why is it bad? Did I ever say it was bad, no, I did not, do not put words in my mouth. If you like Xbox 360 and HD DVD well that is up to you, I like my Blu-ray, PlayStation, and Sony products. I was just saying if MS could buy out games, then so should Sony. I also want PlayStation to win, it is easier to develop for one console, and production cost goes down.
