There was no agreement. Both sides are free to do with the titles as they wish

Only way I'll buy this is if they release the "WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR" blu-ray edition.

that's probably what i'll do, as well...wait...

after all, Blu-Ray is going to end up like DVD with the vanilla stuff released before the special editions...

i just hope i don't have to wait 5 - 10 years for it...or worse...

when Kill Bill vol. 3 comes out in like 8 years (or whenever Vernita Green's daughter grows up to seek revenge against the Bride)

It's a tough call...so the upcoming BD releases are bare-bones? Screw that...I enjoy the films but I think we all want the WBA. Maybe it will come out after Star Wars lol. Give or take 5 years. Amazon.com says it's been discontinued.

i love BOTH films and...call me lazy but...i don't want to be bothered with getting up...walking over...taking the first disc out...putting the second disc in...sitting back down...wait for the menu...pressing PLAY...tedious!!!

so what if it'll run almost 4 - 4 1/2 hours TOTAL...

we won't mind...

really...

we won't...

it will be a nice like appetizer for when they get around to putting all 3 LOTR films on ONE disc...
WTF ... Couch potato or what ????

Next folk will complain that they don't get a pack of nappies with their BD, so that they don't have to get up and take a dump

Now that volumes 1 & 2 have been announced by Disney, it's just a matter of time before TWBA is announced by Weinstein. But you can bet it won't be until after 1 & 2 are released.

I already have them 2 of them on regular dvd........... I REALLY want "The Whole Bloosy Mess" version..............If you were me would you just wait for that one to hopefully come out rather than buying now and again later????

Whole Bloody Affair

I'm going to go ahead and get 1 & 2, because who knows when The Whole Bloody Affair is released. It's been talked about for a couple of years now.

I will be getting VOL.1 and 2 as well. The whole bloody affair has been rumored for years and i blame Tarantino for starting it. If he wasn't 100% sure he would get this done or the company he shouldn't have said it. Plus he will be really busy with his war movie so i doubt they will be working on this any time soon.

I remember when the Kill Bill DVDs came out and people said they were going to wait for TWBA. How many years has it been and it's still not released. I didn't hold off from the DVDs and I'm certainly not holding off from the BDs.

I'll be buying 1 & 2 when they come out, unless I get a solid release date for the whole bloody affair by then.

Yeah, don't hold your breath waiting for the Whole Bloody Affair. I'll be getting vol.1. I don't know about the rest of you, but I didn't really care for vol.2. It was a decent movie, but I like vol.1 10x's more. The only part I really liked from vol.2 was when she was training with Pei Mai.

They will probably be different anyway, much like Grindhouse.

When you watch those movies alone they are way longer. Deathproof was cut down significantly when it was coupled with planet terror.

I doubt very highly that "The Whole Bloody Shin-dig" is as simple as not-running-credits on the first movie and just linking them up.

Your choice, but I think if you own both, you will not find your money wasted.

The only real info I've heard about the "Whole Bloody Affair" is that the black and white scenes will be in color and some scenes will be arranged differently. I haven't heard of any new footage being added.

Its the re-syncing of parts 1 and 2, and uncensored.

Tarantino had been talking about releasing it for years, and he also said that it wouldn't be put on home video before making its theatrical (however limited) run. There is no reason to wait for it, because it may never even come.

It was rumored to come out last November on DVD... and never did.
