At this point I could care less because I only watch movies on the home theater. iPods are for listening to CD's ripped as lossless audio, TWIT, Bob Brinker OnDemand, and of course Howard Stern, Miserable Men, and Greg Fitzsimons.

Digital copy is a good idea, of course, the content owner should agree to provide a free low res version that can be copied. I am not sure whether this practice could impact on their DVD or BD sales. I doubt that many content owners would like this idea as they have the possibility to collect a fee for the low res version.

As I believe was pointed out, these files are all in iTunes DRM format for the iPod and iTunes. They won't work with a PSP. So far, I think Sony themselves are the only ones who have stated intention to make PSP copies. I really hope the other studios will as well...

They'll be making PSP DRM encodes for the Sony store anyway, anyone who signs up with Sony will probably include both

This was a good deal for me. I have Hitman on Blu-ray and now my son has it on his I-Pod (all legal). I heard Rambo is going to have a Digital disc as well.

I really do not care, since I really do not have a need for watching videos on the go. It's nice for people who enjoy watching them on the go, though.

I have Hitman and Avp 2, that have digital copies on a separate disc.
Cant say that this would be useful for me unless I start doing a lot of traveling anytime soon.
