Yeah, I was just going to post the Emmanuel Levy review. Glad its living up to expectations, but it will have a hell of a monster to compete against in the form of WALL-E. Hellboy 2 and Journey to the Center of the Earth are also doing phenomenally well. Is it just me or has this summer been full of shocks? Am I in a dream? Its almost too good to believe.

Emmanuel Levy's Score... Dun Dun Dun... A/A (Anybody know if it is out of A or A+?)

IGN's Todd Gilchrist reviewed it and gave it a 5/5 he said it's better than the original. I have been waiting to see this film since I saw an advanced screening of Batman Begins. http://movies.ign.com/articles/884/884876p1.html

On July 18 I may have a new number one sequal. My number one sequal now is Aliens. Empire Strikes back doesn't really count as it was part of a bigger picture.

Considering I find "Batman Begins" to be overrated (although not quite as much so as "Spider-Man 2," needless to say), I'm hoping I find "The Dark Knight" is as good as many critics are professing.

... Okay, I'm looking forward to seeing this but I am not THAT excited; there must be some heavy-hitting comic bookers and/or general Bat fans around here.

The screen is taller than it is wide. It is 80 feet tall. HUMONGOUS screen. It literally throws you right into the movie. It's best to have seats towards the back of an IMAX theater because the screen is so damn big and tall that you don't want to be looking straight up. The sound is amazing. 12,000 watts. Absolutely kickass. It'll blow you away honestly. For this movie, they managed to film 6 scenes with IMAX cameras. IMAX offers the highest resolution of film possible, so it is very expensive compared to regular film cameras. TDK is the first Hollywood movie to have any IMAX footage in the movie at all. I have seen the first 5 minutes of it in IMAX and it's amazing. I swear, with home theater getting better and better, the future of cinema is IMAX.
