Are you trying to be facetious? If not, you're really being an ass.

A BIT over the line there. Twice now. Both uncalled for.

I still can't believe there are people arguing about No Country For Old Men.
And for those who have barely just "rented" Blade Runner, and I the only one on here who is over 25 or what? Jesus I saw BR in the theater.

Was not directed at you. I was just pointing out the fact that no-one would want to be asked that question.

Oh I know. I was not offended, or defending myself there.

I was just making a broad joke. I would never had made that joke if I would have known that about your mother. I was not trying to be personal with you. I am sure you loved your mother, like I love mine. I am sure she was a wonderful woman.

The joke was (without the obvious misunderstanding) was kind of funny though.

Great movie. Bad ending.

I'm 30 and just absorbed Blade Runner for the first time this year and on Blu-Ray. I do think its great but enjoyed No COuntry a little more.

30 and yes. I'm an old man here.

The ending.....I just expected something different. Kinda like Castaway.

33. I beat you all!

However, I didn't see Blade Runner in the theater. Somehow my father and I missed this one, and we both love sci-fi.

im 23 and I love No Country, Blade Runner and 3:10 to Yuma. All three are pretty excellent films in my opinion. No Country being my favorite. Saw that one in the theater, my friends and I were actually excited to see it as we had become big Coen Brothers fans. One of the best chase movies I've ever seen and Javier Bardem sealed it for me.

I watched Blade Runner for the first time on Blu-ray. My dad loves sci-fi too but he has never even seen it. It wasn't really what I expected at all. Dark and noirish, it's pretty intense at times. Wasn't sure what to make of it at first, but it definitely has grown on me.

3:10 I also saw in the theater and loved it right away. Good repeat viewings. Great cast. Excellent western.

these people who dislike No Country are most likely the action-packed/explosion/guns/gore/blood/storyless movie goers and dont havent realized how to think yet. sort of an insult, but i was that way once also. its not until you start to think about what the idea was behind the story when you truly begin to appreciate a good movie.

Agreed-
Besides being a Very Good movie, it had a fitting 'ending', sometimes not having everything all raped up nice & neat in little package at the end is nice change

definitely. people are spoonfed WAY too much these days. they are always expecting the "same" type of movie, the ones that give away all the mystery and answer all your questions. but sometimes a little mystery is what we need and it always makes it thought provoking.

This is one of my favorite movies now. I'd give this movie 5 stars. I think Javier Bardem's role of a psychopath is unbelievable! First time I saw this, I had no idea when Mr. Bardem was going to snap. He portrays one of the most disturbing character's I have seen in a long time. Yeah the ending could of been better, but who cares. It's an excellent movie.
