It's not a good looking movie by any means but it's not bad either. Still better than DVD, but I have a feeling it's more due to source material so yeah.

Yea, for me this may be the worst overuse of EE. I don't mind a little EE and DNR in general, but this movie just plain looks like bad video. It's so harsh that along with being very funny, it's also just very sad.

I was just watching this with some friends a few weeks ago and we couldn't believe that the movie was about ten years old. How time flies.

Still a hilarious movie btw :P

You'd think the 15th anniversary would have led to something, as this is one of the best-remembered comedies of the mid-00's, and pretty much the entire cast went on to major fame afterwards. And Universal has been knocking it out of the park with their recent 4K UHD remasters. Here's hopin'.

Don't think I've seen this since the theater. Thought it was hilarious at the time though. Hard to believe this movie was released fifteen years ago. In retrospect, it had a lot of powerhouse comedic folks who weren't all that established at the time. Rogen had minimal name recognition outside of fans of Freaks and Geeks or Undeclared, Kevin Hart was still pretty unknown, while Carrell and Rudd were gaining traction after Anchorman. The Office was still a new show only a few months in at this time as well.

Watched it again today, and viewing on my considerably larger/nicer new TV I got last year made the deficiencies in the transfer even more glaring.

This is in desperate need of a UHD release, and I'm sure the New Universal could knock it out of the park. 2005-era Elizabeth Banks deserves the best.
