XXX Blu-Ray Sex Discussion!? - Blu-ray Forum

Putting the moral issue aside, a lot of pornographic films are being recorded on blu-ray. I'd like to know what is good, what is bad, and other opinions for those who don't know about the quality of all those blu-ray pornographic blu-ray film recordings.

Feel free to express your opinion on this topic. Your opinion is greatly appreciated.

I heard Pirates has good picture/sound quality. Debbie Does Dallas......Again was a bad example though. It'll be easier to visit your local adult movie store and ask.

Well, there are different types of adult movies and they can be split into two main categories:
Major productions
-These films have storylines and high end stars

Gonzo
-No plot all action

Personally, I prefer the Gonzo stuff but that's just my personal opinion. The reality based stuff, BangBros and other companies, are also very good even though they are fake.

I'm hoping the new Pirates movie will bring it even further into the mainstream. I mean this was the first porno to have a premiere!

I made the plunge into the world of BD porn about a month ago. I am not a huge porn guy, but I'll watch it from time to time. Anyway, I had to see what BD does for porn.

I won't give you the title of the flick, but it was distributed by Digital Playground. Honestly, the PQ was pretty good, but it does come at a cost. With the HD visual, you can see razor burn and little skin imperfections that much more (not always flattering). It says that it is 5.1 DD and it probably is, but I really could not care about surround sound for these types of movies.

Overall I am happy that I have seen it, but I don't expect to buy any more BD porn movies, especially at $50 a pop or more (no pun intended).

It has already been mentioned, but I was gonna say that the HD Quality may not be a good thing for some of these stars. 92% of them have pancake make-up slathered all over their bodies and some of them have scars from the plastic surgery.

Stubble burn, razor rash, butt zits....blech...dude, it's ALLLLLL HD now.

Maybe they will stay DvD for a while.

I don't know much about porn releases but my friend who works at a strip club told me Pirates is supposed to be "the shit" when it comes to porn because it's one of the most high-budget pornos ever. So I'm assuming that should be one of the best.

I just want what's fair. And so far the discussion on this thread has been pretty level-headed so that's good. The title is kinda misleading though - nobody has been talking about the sex in the XXX BDs and maybe nobody should.

All the studios were giving credit to him for the first Fast & Furious's success, and there was this whole push to assume he was already a solo bankable star before there was any actual box-office evidence to back it up.

Still, that Ice Cube sequel pretty much proved the "franchise" had been in their own imaginations to begin with.

Titan Media is publishing more titles in Blu-ray, it is a gay studio however. And yes, the PQ on Breakers is amazing.
