Pirates XXX Blu-ray :D

Anyone knows where I could buy this title for a cheap price and other adult movies on Blu?

I have never seen Digital Playgrounds Pirates movie (2005) or the 2008 sequel movie called Pirates 2 Stagnetti’s Revenge (both movies have hardcore pornographic sex scenes, and therefore if they were ever summitted to the MPA for a rating they would earn a NC-17 rating). The Digital Playground studio self-applied the X rating even though officially no movies after the end of 1990 received a X rating anymore from the MPA). The first Pirates movie had a budget of $1 million dollars and was released on the Blu-ray format on 1-11-2008. The first Pirates movie use to sell for $49.99 on Blu-ray, however the Blu-ray is now out of print, and I see the movie on Blu-ray has inflated in value to the point that an Amazon dealer only has one copy left on Blu-ray for $479.98.

I am not sure if Digital Playground studios has any plans to run off more Pirates Blu-rays at their factory. According to the IMDb database and other sources the first Pirates movie source material is native 1080P/24 digital with a 5.1 PCM studio master audio. Therefore, it is not likely that Digital Playground studios will release this movie on the 4K Blu-ray format, since if they did the movie would by upscaled to 4K and not true native 4K. But a high bit rate HEVC encode at 1080P or upscaled to 4K Blu-ray would look better then standard Blu-ray discs.

However the Pirates 2 Stagnetti’s Revenge movie on Blu-ray is still in print and being offered. Digital Playgrounds Pirates 2 movie had an $8 Million dollar budget in the year 2008, and because of the bigger budget according to IMDb database, Pirates 2 was shot on 35mm film with 5.1 PCM studio master audio (however I have never seen the movie and some sources claim Pirates 2 was shot on HD 1080P digital instead of film). Therefore, it is a possibility that Pirates 2 movie could be released on the 4K Blu-ray format in the future with 5.1 lossless audio or a new lossless 11.1 DTS X or 13.1 Dolby Atmos studio mix (especially if the movie was shot on film instead of 1080P HD digital format).

I am surprised that some studio has never created a $20 million dollar budget hardcore adult musical with hardcore sex scenes. There is a possibility that a adult NC-17 musical would be very successful at the box office. If Larry Flint was still around, he would most likely get involved in such a movie. According to online information Larry Flint passed away on Feb 10th 2021. Back in the year 1996 I saw the movie called The People vs. Larry Flint which was very educational (I see now in recent years the Hustler company no longer does Blu-ray and DVD home video releases but currently is offering Hustler HD channel on Dish Network and the Hustler streaming service).

A high budget Biblical based adult musical could even be made for the faith based community that showed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden before the fall. Adam and Eve would be running around singing while juggling apples and once and awhile Eve might stick a banana in her mouth in the middle of the song. Then the serpent could sing along with a singing Dinosaur, Monkey, and even a singing Bear. The movie would be NC-17, but a R rated version might also be offered for faith based families that want to bring their kids to the movie. There are many parts of the Bible that could easily be made into a NC-17 movie because of massive amount of sex and violence within the scriptures.

If that's anywhere close to what someone would be willing to pay for Pirates, then that's probably the most expensive disc I own. If someone's looking to make a trade, I'll swap it for the Columbia Classics Vol. 1 4K set:

Pirates would hold up fairly well if there were less explicit footage that could be substituted in at the appropriate places. It has an adequate plot, actors ranging from passable to surprisingly good, and some decent comedy and action; it also features an homage to the bear/bunny riff from:

They sold these when the stores closed down. I remember passing on it cuz I wanted it without the naughty bits removed, and I'd be lost having not seen the first. I don't see any on ebay right now, although searching is a nightmare. Sold copies of 2 edited BD are all around $20. Sold blus of the first which I don't see edited ones are 80-100, and the dvds are going for around that too.
