The Dark Knight is the ONLY movie I gave a 5 star rating where I have not reconsidered and later changed the rating. Not to say I give 5 star ratings lightly. TDk was the single most awe inspired movie I have seen in my life..

Are you rating movies for the site....Cause this leads me to worry....TDK is a great movie, but there were so many performances that were not even good,
M. Gyllanhal was horrible and C. Bale as Batman in the end was almost impossible to hear cause he was mummbling so bad to give it this high of praise is funny...

You really think in 28 years this movie will of held the test of time the way
say Empire Strikes Back does today....Not even close..It'll only be remembered as H. Ledger's last performance..

I'm sure it will, but that doesn't mean it'll be the same quality transfer as Iron Man is, I highly doubt it will personally...

The voice can be dubbed over and fixed. This is Hollywood. They rebooted The Hulk and we pretended the first one virtually never existed. They can replace main characters with new people to play the same part, and we pretend not to notice. Ie: Don Cheetle for Iron Man 2.

On the whole, both The Empire Strikes back and The Dark Knight are excellent films. But The Dark Knight will thrive and be a treasured film for generations because Batman fans will let it live on.

Unlike Star Wars which George Lucas has been milking for the past 30 years. It never had a chance to become past pop culture. It remains current culture through releases, and releases of movies, games, and merchandise.

Old school Star Wars fans have probably given up on the franchise and simply keep the first 3 movies in a time capsule. The idea is old and repetitive already. I'm sure Lucas has lost as many old fans as he has gained new. Get a new idea already George!

Not true. The Imaginarium of Doctor Barnasas comes out next year. The Dark Knight is just the last performance that he finished. He died while filming Imaginarium with Terry Gilliam.

That's exactly what I was thinking, a tie is a decent possibility.
