Well, this film so far has been pretty successful, despite it's currently very limited release. HUGE per-theater average. Word so far is that the film is excellent. I can't wait to finally be able to see this!

Rourke's a great actor and I've been looking forward to this movie for the last few months. I love the trailer.

Unfortunately I have to wait until January 23rd.

Well I listened to the entire Bruce Springsteen song that you hear in the trailer (called "The Wrestler"). It's absolutely amazing. I am soooo excited for this movie. The $209,000 in FOUR theaters in amazing. People WANT to see this movie. I cannot wait for it to come to Baltimore! I am almost tempted to go to DC to see this movie.

But I digress....this song is CLASSIC Boss. It is so good and just makes me anticipate the movie even more.

I really want to see this. His performance looks great. That scene in the trailer where he's talking to his daughter looks heartbreaking.

Saw it yesterday, I was so surprised that a Sunday at 2PM sold out! but I got in

And the film was fantastic, the story was pretty sad, but Rourkes performance is worth all the hype.
