Build 7100 is the official Release Candidate. *note* The beta released to the public is build 7000. If you're using anything prior to 7100, do yourself a favor and do a clean install of at least 7100. Newest build as of right now is 7137

Microsoft Confirms Windows 7 On Track For Holiday Season

Min Requirements: 1GHz processor (32- or 64-bit)
1GB of main memory
16GB of available disk space
Support for DX9 graphics with 128MB of memory (for the Aero interface)
A DVD-R/W drive

Windows 7 attempts to solve crashing programs itself without letting the whole program crash. Doesn't always work, but hey..(it actually worked to save this post while i edited it and ie8 tried to crash on me)

Improved boot times with an older build, lets hope it stays that fast

New taskbar..gives previews of all open windows. 3 open ie windows in this case

New calculator..gadgets..

Updated paint!!
