Yeah, buy them all. I have a PS3, 360, Wii, PS2, Gamecube, PSP, DS, 2 xboxes, and 2 dreamcasts. I get called a "fanboy" because I defend the 360, but I love ALL the systems.

I have bought them all-include the 16 and 32 bits too. Not much of a handheld fan though. I just would like people who are die hard PS3 fans to try the 360 like I did the PS3-I had to really talk myself into it but in the long run, I'm sure the games will be more towards my tastes, and I'll be happy I did. By the way-Nice with the 2 Dreamcasts (it's a shame isn't it). Sorry for the brief thread derailment. Happy gaming.

We've started to see more occurances of what appears to be fanboyish behavior recently. Whether you are format neutral or are truly a fanboy or troll, you will likely be called a fanboy if you post with the type of rhetoric seen in this thread.
I was wondering what some of you think of me? Format neutral, fanboy, troll or something else?

I had all 3, but the Wii is such a pathetic excuse for a video game system i had to sell it while the gettin was good. I am happy with my 360 and my 2 ps3s. PS3 by far the most prefered.

Ownership says nothing of one's bias. Some may "own" a PS3 just so they could claim some right to say irresponsible things about it, without consequence.

best gun gaming system was the 3-DO. Anyone remember that? I think bashing one system over another is ridiculous imo. I also remember the days that most electronics came on one color...black. Factoring in the color of ones a/v components was NOT an option when it came to a purchase..

It was expensive, but I had that thing (thanks to a lot of trade ins and several people owing me some big time favors) and it was WAY ahead of its time. I thought it was a hell of an amazing system myself.

I enjoyed the 3d0. I played the crap out of SSF2T and Way Of The Warrior (White Zombie!!!).

"irresponsible things" I said my opinion! And that in no way is "irresponsible". And it definately doesn't give me right to "claim some right to say..." Living in the US does that! I would say ownership claims non-bias more than non-ownership (that was my point). A discussion holds more weight if you also can throw in some personal experiences-especially when giving your opinion. Just regurgitating numbers and specs is just that-regurgitation. It doesn't add anything new or different to a discussion. What is your definition of "fanboy"? Someone who doesn't own or agree with what you own or think? I would think a "fanboy" is someone who is insanely loyal to one thing-right? I said this before-I think the 360 has better games and the Blu-Ray is the better format/movie player-That's not being a "fanboy"! Drop the stupid "fanboy" if you can't come up with a consistant way to use it-don't just use it if someone likes another system over yours!

Yeah, you're right. I spent $600+ dollars on a launch PS3...just so I could talk trash about it without consequence. I'm biased against the PS3. That's exactly why I bought it.

It won't have an HD-DVD drive AND it won't have a quiet DVD drive!

Gamespot - Xbox 360 Elite gutted

Quote:
According to Llama.com, the Elite it disassembled has the same noisy Hitachi DVD drive as many older 360s, not the quieter BenQ drives found in several newer batches of the console.
Great value! .................. NAAAAT!

^^ Pretty ridiculous. The least they could do for their obvious PS3 response/pseudo knock off piece is try and make it as quiet as the PS3, or close to it.

I still am not impressed with the fact that I can easily buy some pretty decent 500GB hard drives for about the same price M$ is asking for their 120gig on this "Elite" machine of theirs.

When are people going to finally get it?

Complaints mar Xbox 360 Elite launch

Lack of data transfer cable, XBLA game and video content DRM turn has turned some early buyers of Microsoft's tricked-out console into vocal critics.

Let's just leave it at the fact the Xbox 360 Elite did not do so well trying to battle Sony; they are technologically behind quite a ways. It will take another 360 release to fox all of their problems. Maybe if we all wait another year we will see the Xbox 360 Ultimate!

Elite is a outright failure. It launched and stores have tons in stock everywhere. You'd think there would be a demand, but the 360 sales #s have become insanely stagnent as of late. If i were MS, i'd be in full on worry mode. They have to do something to make sales go up with nothing other then Halo 3 being anticipated (and everyone who wants Halo 3 already bought a 360 when gears came out anyway). All sony has to do is keep on trucking and just refine the system OS, get more games out and work on Home. Blu-Ray is already a success and a major selling point for the PS3 as it is. I cant wait for this holiday season!!
