I would love this to get a remaster. Although the underrated Club Dread is my favorite Broken Lizard film, Super Troopers is the first one I saw and a close second.

Does anyone have a problem with the pip commentary? They show up at the bottom of the screen but I can’t figure out how to change the audio to them. I’ve played with all the settings but can’t figure it out.

I saw Super Troopers with Fox Icon Blu-ray with an slipcover at Wal Mart in other day and I decide to wait and finally to see announce newest Blu-ray and so one day for me. This is the best movie

I'm having the same problem.

UPDATE: Changing the audio output on my player from bitstream to PCM fixed the problem. If you do that, you should be able to hear the PIP commentary.

I assume the new version is the same disc as the old? I just bought the old version for $4.99 at Best Buy but will wait for confirmation before opening.

Best Buy has the 2018 release of Super Troopers 1 on their site for $5.99 with free shipping and 0.46 tax.

Goes new on Amazon for $9.99 so 4 dollar savings

it basically did get one...and came out about 3 months after you posted this lol. it's the UK release by signal and it looks phenomenal compared to the heavily DNR'd garbage they gave us in the US. the UK discs does have a bit more bitrate, but whoever did this encode skipped the DNR which is the main reason it looks so much better. there's actually details and grain...so much grain which is absent in the US release. it's a night and day difference.

it's also cheap. only downside is region B.

I second that this should get a remaster. I did take the advice of another poster and get the Signal One release - it certainly does have more grain and detail compared to the US release, but there's still room for improvement regarding sharpness and color grading. A fresh transfer would be welcome.

I just heard about the Signal One release being a silent remaster with the existing scan, worth it? I watched this recently and my OLED is hitting home how much DNR and sharpening the Fox disc has, makes me sad.
