Check any major entertainment news site an they will all have an article on this rumor which (as I said) *sniff sniff* smells of bull$hit

LMAO

People have to remember that IMDB never checks anything. A few years ago they had John Malkovich playing Voldemort even though as part of the agreement of the Harry Potter series acquistion from Rowling all actors and actresses could not be from the states doing fake accents.

Again, like I said, if the Nolan bros. released this information it is a red herring to get a reaction. And boy, did they get a reaction.

This is the stupidest rumor ever. It was on TV this morning, my Mom was there watching & actually bought it and was like hhmmm that interesting. I swear this is just annoying. I mean come on Nolan hates Robin and Eddie Murphy as the Riddler I mean seriously what the??? The only actor/actress of the 3 rumored that would even work in the Nolan-verse style trilogy that they've created would be Rachael Weisz whom I think would be a great Catwoman. But regardless this is just dumb. Just had to get that off my chest.

When I saw Murphy I immediately thought "Cillian Murphy." I wouldn't mind seeing him and the Scarecrow again.

I just feel because of his strong comic routes and recognition as such, he just wouldn't work in the dark & gritty world Nolan has created. He's a great comedian and I'm sure he could play the Riddler half decent, maybe. Though he'd just feel out of place I think. Just my opinion.

But for all we know Murphy could be a great actor, I mean who would have thought Adam Sandler could actually act before Punch Drunk Love? And the same with Robin Williams before One Hour Photo and Insomnia

I know what your saying. I mean when Heath was cast I questioned the casting, but boy was I wrong to doubt him. But even still I just think there's better options out there. Ultimately though I have faith in whatever Nolan decides, provided he officially decides to come back for a third that is.

Yeah because Murphy is worse than Jim Carrey, and even though I hate Robin Labeouf is one of the better young actors out there.
