Yes it can. I have a few imports myself and it accepted every one. It also has a lot of "customize" features. I love it.

i use a free program called Personal Video Database. you should be able to google it. it does all formats... dvd, blu-ray, and hddvd. great program, it has cover arts, bar code scans, it even lets you mark who you lent a movie out to. it has a lot of customization.

I've tried a lot of them...dvdaf, dvd profiler, blu-ray.com. What I love about ICollect is that I can sync my collection to and from my ITouch. It's nice to have your collection with you on the go.

I use Delicious Library II on my Mac and this is an incredible little app! Anything with a barcode can be scanned and categorized! I walk in with a new Blu and before I bring it to the HT shelf I scan it into DLII. It tells me what I just scanned and adds the picture of the BD to my collection shelf! So cool! No typing, just scan and go!

I am a Mac User and I will try this program. Unfortunately, DVD Profiler never got around to creating a Mac version of their software.

Delicious Library II sounds like it could be just what the dr. ordered, but it's not free is it?

That's because for every Mac user there are 10 PC users. Sorry, I couldn't help myself as I can't stand Mac.

And another for DVD Profiler.

I tried many of them and find Profiler to be more for less.

I just use this site. I stored away all my DVD's and don't keep track of those anymore. I've already replaced the majority of my DVD's in Blu-Ray or Apple formats, and just use this site to keep track of my BD collection.

I'm a Mac user and Delicious Library II is the best software out there for movie, cd, and book cataloging in my opinion. Before switching over to Mac I used a software program called DVDpedia, its a fairly good substitute for Windows, that also uses a web cam for barcode scanning.

I haven't run into any that can't be entered, and it does have many nice features. Check it out.

http://www.icollectmedia.com/

Since it's in my iPhone, it's easy to see what's in my wishlist when I'm at the store. I can use the Redlaser app to check online prices and easily scan the barcode to add a movie to my collection. I have often found that Amazon has a better price and ordered it, rather than picking it up locally.

The backup feature allows me to Email the collection to myself. I can also upload my collection and access it via their website and share it. It can store BDs, DVDs and VHS, etc. You can search for movies by actor, genre, audio codec, etc, and record when you loaned it out, when you added it to your collection, how much you paid for it and when you last watched it. It has links to IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes for movie info.

Just got it on my Iphone. Looks like exactly like what I've been looking for. I'm so tired of not been sure what I have lol Can't wait to go home and check it out. Thanks for the info.

I miss DVD spot. They had a great feature allowing users to see most popular actors, directors, producers, etc in their collection.
Now I use DVD file, DVD profiler and last - but not least - Blu-ray.com

I revived this thread just to tell people about this program. I stumbled upon it by accident. I was looking into getting the DVD Profiler app which cost $8.99 + $29.99 for the website version. Then I noticed in the comments someone recommending ICollect Movies. The app was only $2.99 and the website is free!

I've been playing around with this program and it is awesome. I was adding all my dvds last night without even taking them off the shelf. I just typed the titles into my ITouch.

Bottom line guys, if you have an IPhone, ITouch, or IPad definitely check out this program. It has so many cool features.

I've just moved from Delicious Library 2 to DVDpedia - It already impressed me asking to import my delicious library collection!

I've found a huge lack of updates with DL and it's so buggy and slow it's unbearable. Am so happy with DVDpedia so far! Thanks for the suggestions!
