The UK Blu is from a decade+ old master that wasn't very good to begin with.. It's awful

I actually liked the second Crow up until the very end when Richard Brooks' character died. I can't bring myself to watch the third or fourth. Tara Reid just gets on my second to last nerve. I save my last nerve for Hddvd fanboys.

I would have to as well. I only want it out once they have the time to do it right. I want a brand new master and really good sound. It's such a strong movie that it deserves the best treatment possible. I am worried since they didn't handle the DVD release very well. I bought it when it first came out and the first scene with the cop and girl were very very bright. I haid to wait for the collectors edition before that was fixed.

I suppose they could release BDs in any that they want. Most are 1080p but there are some 1080i. They could even release like 480p old tv shows on there to put more on 1 disc.

Thanks... I'm just curious with movies like not this old...I understand with old TV shows or old movies.... okay....we never stop learning..

The experts could probalby answer better, but I would guess it's cheaper to do put together a lower resolution product. I myself only want 1080p as well. On some boards I have seen some people argue that their tv's upconvert 1080i to 1080p so it doesn't matter and others say different. I just say that everything should be released 1080p if they are able to. Not sure how hard it is to release something in 1080p if it wasn't shot that way. For newer stuff, there really is no excuse not to release in 1080p IMO.

There is only one crow movie and that is The Crow with Brandon Lee. All others are absolute sh*t!!!!!!!!!

But yeah I would love this movie on BD, this is my all time favorite movie!

If they put some effort into a new remastered version I would definitely pick it up on Blu-ray. I heard of the UK version but it received bad scores on video so I steared clear.

It's out in the UK, but it's supposedly region coded and I also heard that it's mediocre looking as best. Plus it's encoded in 1080i. I guess we'll have to wait until it's properly released in the U.S.
