It's just one disc which makes the "disc one" on the back kind of odd.

This is only a one disc. I thing that was a typo.

Definitely rent first. It's a really ambitious film, but switches from a big, sweeping epic with an almost old-school western kind of feel to a war film in the last hour. And there's some really obvious and obnoxious racial commentary that anyone older than five would be able to pick up on. I wanted to like it, and parts of it are really entertaining, but it's almost three hours long and wants to do too much, so not everything gets the development and attention it needs. It's worth seeing for the performances and the visuals (I'm sure it'll look great on BD), but definitely rent it.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS MOVIE! Just to let you know though that people seem to either really like it or not care for it at all.

So I advise you to rent first. If your gf has already seen it and that's the reason she wants it, you should just buy it for her and convert her to Blu!

I got my copy a few days ago and it is absolutely stunning on Blu. Extra features are also all in 1080 and some gorgeous photos by the famed photographer Anne Leibovitz. It is a beauty!

Thanks, she hasn't seen it yet but it seems like a movie she would like. It took a while but I have converted her to blu which is why I have the Notebook in my collection , I wasn't buying that, no offense if you like it. I will propably pick this up it has been about a month since I bought a blu and I am starting to fiend.

I like western/ frontier movies and I LOVE Nicole Kidman, so this was a blind buy for me.

Break it to me gently (Because I would have bought it anyway for Nicole), did she break her bad script choice streak with this one...or is this another Interpreter???

(I should be more fare, because Invasion wasn't SO bad.)

If you liked her in Moulin Rouge, you will like this! On top of that, her comedic acting was awesome!

I "liked it" but I wouldnt buy it day 1, I will eventually get her. I think Nicole did it again with a bad script, she will never be old Nicole again...

I wasnt sure what to expect outta this one but I just finished watching it on BD and I must say Pic quality of course was amazing and movie was alot better than I expected. I got mine thru netflix and cant see myself buying it unless it ends up being really cheap. 7/10 rating though

This is a BAD movie. Nothing was 'awesome' in it. Both Jackman and Kidman sucked (as they always do).
It's a manipulative, nationalistic piece. Complete junk.
Only women like these type of pap.

Not true. I am a 34 year old, married male, with a 2 year old daughter, and I really liked this movie. To me this was a throw back to movies of the 1950's and I truly enjoyed it. I also enjoyed getting out of the house for a change and seeing it in the theater.
