"Pop" is nonsense. "Soda" is civilized.

So here was my rationalization for buying the soda. I thought about getting free water, but then there would be not caffeine in it, and I was pretty tired. Then, I thought maybe I could also get tea or coffee, which would also be free, but then I wanted a cold drink. Only soda fulfilled those requirements.
