I realized something...

The 5% off is not fully 5% off to begin with. take a 14.99 disc which is now listed as 14.28, that is @ 95.2635%. Not a real big deal if you but one, but consider how many discs they might move, it adds up to their advantage.

Then when you add up your total of 20 disc, and do a 20% off that total, it is a few bucks less than the actual 20% off!!

I ordered 20 discs, and I worked it out backwards, it turns out to be like 22% off the before 5% price (I loaded up my cart last night and kept it on my screen to compare) instead. Still not a bad deal, but I am a little annoyed that they are adding the small little extra on top and claiming to give us a full discount.

So first time buyer at Sig, ordered Iron Man ($16.99) and Kill Bill Volume 2 ($14.99) on Monday night for pickup in Brampton, now the latter is out of stock. Does anybody know how quickly they receive shipments? I was told yesterday, now they told me tomorrow and I'm losing some faith here.

I shoulda ordered them separately so I could've at least picked up Iron Man this week.

That started today at noon. Most of their blu-rays have been marked down 5% on the site, and depending on how many you order you can get up to 25% off your order using their coupon codes. The sale lasts until midnite Jan. 26th. You should have held off on your order from earlier this week!

The sale is definitely a little flawed, but considering they have some of the cheapest canadian prices already, I can't really complain.

Here's what I noticed

1. Not all titles are getting the 5% discount for some reason (seems to mainly be Disney titles)
2. The titles that aren't getting the 5% Discount don't seem to be getting the 10/15/20% discounts either (I only tried with 1 title not getting the 5%)
3. Up to 25% off is a lie as it's 5% off then 20% off that price which = 24% off of the original price
4. 5% isn't really 5%. 19.99-5% = 18.99 not 19.04


Anyway, I ordered 10 titles for a total of 14.5% off. Very happy with my purchases and the price I'm paying. Just wish that they had a couple titles still in stock when I ordered.

Maybe someone will price match? Future Shop did that for me yesterday. I just loaded the titles I wanted into the shopping basket, printed the page, and took it into Future Shop. They didn't even check if they were in stock (they all were).

So I ordered the last copy of Kill Bill Volume 2 it would seem and it's now Out of Stock; any estimate from past experience how long til the Brampton location would have it? They told me yesterday, now tomorrow, not sure what to believe.

I picked up 27 titles 4 of them had no discounts at all because they were "hidden" on the website but my total order still came out to $407.63 taxes and shipping included so I am pleased!!

Averages out to @ $15.10 per movie

I ordered right at 12pm cause I knew titles like Hostage & Universal Soldier would be gone quickly

My order has already been billed and should be shipped tomorrow

Question: I had 20 titles in my cart and removed 10 of them (nedd to save money ) anyways, for some reason the 20% coupon was still applied and gave me the discount of 20% on 10 movies I haven't put it through yet but is this a mistake. Would they cancelled my order if it went though.

I didn't do anything special though, I just adjsuted my order from 20 to 10 and it kept the coupon on . I'm going to start over with the 10% coupon (I don't want trouble from them) just to be safe.
