wow i saw a few people in there that didnt approach this topic like a plasma vs lcd or hddvd vs blu rofl! while i do understand the hate for .mp3 compression lol i dont understand the hate of ipod as a product especially with advancing compression techniques! If the apple lossless is in effect a zip file effect kind of compression like oh i dont know the sound we have on our blu-rays and you can store hundreds of cd's on it wouldnt the only difference really be convenience as in one tiny on the go unit and one giant 100 disc player? both having the same quality depending on the source as in ripped from a cd?

p.s. i remixed a remix and it was back to normal

and I have many many more, these all get used on a daily basis none of them a retired. simply put I am a fan of music, not a format. I just like some formats better for portability, some for quality, and some simply for the feeling. even if an mp3 sounded like vinyl it still would just not be vinyl, but i have tried running with it and it really takes too long an extension cord and skips like ....
