I didn't see an option for trimming nose hairs. I would've picked that (pun intended).

The resident evil series is easily one of my favorites...but KZ2 looks absolutely amazing. Im super pumped for both, but the edge goes to KZ2.

Killzone 2
I'll get bored faster with RE5 after I beat it. So I'll have more play time with Killzone 2 and pick up RE5 later at a cheap price.

As I've played all the main RE games I'm more excited for RE5's story but 2/3's through RE4 I felt it was dragging on a bit and at the end I wanted to replay the game for the cool moments but the rest was offputting enough to stop me. I'm a little worried RE5 will drag on, not feel that fresh.

As I've played the Killzone 2 online beta I know it's one of the few multiplayer games with flavour I'll bother to put some time into. The graphics in many ways (lighting, animation-physics) are unmatched and the sound is top tier too. As the game is shorter I'll enjoy plowing through the 2nd to the top and top difficulty (with no HUD!) and I don't expect there to be much downtime, uninteresting sections.

No contest. Killzone 2.

I have all of the main Resident Evil games, so I have a good idea of what to expect, and what the experience will be like playing RE5.

Killzone 2 is more of an unknown for me, and I've been looking forward to it since the infamous preview trailer from 2005. The videos and photos I see of it keep getting better and better. I can't say the same for RE5.

Unknown? Lemme spoil it for you. You're gonna see the end of your gun, which you will point at people at shoot them. Repeat indefinitely.

Res 5 for me... ive loved these games since the first one... but i want it to have a scarier story than res. 4.... maybe its just that i got older but they seem less scary as time went on. meaning the scariest for me were res 1 and 2... or the story lines arent as good. something is missing as time went on.....

It's shaping up to be not just another FPS, so yeah, I'm looking forward to having a really immersive experience with Killzone 2, and I think it has a worthy storyline. It's not as simple as you've described it, and it will push the PS3 to previously unseen limits.

RE5 will be great, but I don't think it has the wow factor to it. And as I seem to recall, it also involves walking around, pointing a gun at people (undead zombies or possessed people, whatever), and shooting them. Repeating indefinitely.

Wow, your description of Killzone 2 summarizes RE5 nicely. Great job!

Such a narrow choice. There should be more games to choose from. or at least the "none" vote option.
