I played the games quite a lot and find it a good adaptation (maybe some notorious characters didn't appear though). Humor fits well with the cheesy action.
The French BD has DTS HD MA ... (region B on the cover, no idea if it can be read elsewhere)

Maybe a silly question (I'm thinking of taking another dip on this one (I think that'd be 4 now?)). Is there any difference to this and the Canadian version (transfer/audio improvements?)

bout the same video wise, but the U.S. version was fing stupid and forgoes the lossless track that the Canadian release has.

This movie really got reviewed at 4 stars here? I'm in disbelief. It's a terribly acted, low budget, T&A flick. It's somewhat fun to watch, but it's like 2.5 stars at best.

What next, Pauly Shore movies at 4.5 stars?

I forget, because I haven't played the game or watched the movie in ages now, but wasn't there a character whose sole appearance was falling off some high platform?

I hate the cover. Enough said. I own the Canadian release. Really cool. But yeah, I just...I never liked the US/Can cover. Thank god for Customs.

I can't believe the US version is only Dolby Digital. I'll keep my Canadian release.

Why would you be in disbelief? How good a movie is is SUBJECTIVE.
Just because you don't like it does not mean that everybody must not like it (vice versa).

You can like movies for different reasons, or they can be guilty pleasures.

eg: I used to like Bio-Dome, but it's still a shitty movie.

But some movies are what they are. A movie shot cheap and filmed quickly with bad acting, un-inspired editing/composition and a lame plot with the sole purpose being to show a little T&A isn't really a 4 star movie.

But we're all free to like it for what it is.

Is the Canadian disc region-free?

EDIT: OK, http://bluray.liesinc.net/ confirms it as Region A only. Damn!
