The "secondary audio" option applies specifically to the picture-in-picture tracks; I'm guessing from your posted thoughts on this one that you've definitely not watched anywhere near 1000 of those.

I've watched all my discs, but have never tried any of the "picture in picture" stuff before on the handful that have it. And if it means rewiring my system, I'm fine with it not working.

I only tested it this time on this disc as a favor to the person who posted the question. If someone else out there is able to hear the audio on the b-roll and EPK footage, with certain different settings, more power to them.

Who said anything about rewiring your system? It's an option in your player's settings. Nothing major.

Also allows the noises that play on a lot of discs when you navigate the menu.

In fairness, even if it had sound, the b-roll and EPK footage didn't look all that interesting, and it's in a box the size of a post-it note in one corner as the movie continues to play, which is really distracting. I'm glad this concept was quickly abandoned.

So, I see the Arrow release is Region B, but can anybody attest to whether or not the Panasonic "Top Menu" trick works on this disc? I'd love to pick it up, but I only have a Region A player at the moment.

I own the Arrow UK disc. I can confirm that the "STOP, TOP MENU, TOP MENU" trick does, indeed, work on my Panasonic.

Which is unfortunately an upscale from a 2K DI.

It'd be great to get a UHD of one of his movies finished photochemically or at 4K digitally.

BD. BR doesn't stand for Blu-ray disc (BD).
