Everything that is on Friday nights gets DVR'd unless it attracts an older crowd who have nothing better to do. I don't know why Fox would think taking Terminator TSCC off and putting some other crap show in its place is possibly going to get it more viewers. I bet prison break is going to pull in worse numbers in that time slot the next two weeks.

Not really. He just repaced "I have" with "it has", which makes sense with this context. Oh, and he replaced "you're" with "your"....

Default Scoop: Fox set to terminate Sarah Connor Chronicles

After that horrible season finale that's all they give us? Wow.......just wow.......I don't agree with Ausiello saying the show went out ontop, considering the finale 3 minutes, come on!

Apr 14, 2009, 03:56 PM | by Michael Ausiello

Resist the urge to nuke the messenger, but multiple sources are telling me that Fox will not be renewing Terminator: The Summer Glau Sarah Connor Chronicles for a third season.

"It's done," maintains a source close to the show. "Everyone has pretty much known for a couple of weeks." Adds a network insider: "Consider it canceled."

The one bright spot? Despite horrific ratings, Fox isn't ready to declare SCC dead and buried -- at least not officially. "No decision has been made yet," insists a network rep. "We will be announcing our fall schedule on May 18."

Rough translation: It won't be back.

Oh, I just thought of one other bright spot: At least the show went out on top creatively. Last Friday's finale was an action-packed, closure-filled triumph. The only thing left unresolved is what Summer Glau will do for an encore. I'm thinking 24 should hire her as next season's Big Bad.

I really enjoyed the end of the season finale. It had me excited for season 3 to begin already. Bummer.

This is pretty much the same thing that was posted by Marine Mike, just put in another article. Please stop posting this stuff until May 18 when they announce whether it is back or not. I can't even begin to comprehend your opinion of the finale, but it's your opinion and I'll just leave it at that. To anyone else that reads this thread: IT IS NOT CANCELLED. NOBODY WILL KNOW UNTIL FOX SAYS ONE WAY OR THE OTHER ON MAY 18!

Haha well I didn't see the article, so sorry for offending you. Yes, it is my opinion and I have been a fan of the show since the first episode. I thought it was fine up until the last few minutes. I just think they could have created a much better finale considering the huge possibility of it being canceled. I just don't understand what that was supposed to accomplish by sending young John into the future. I mean if you understood the reasoning here please explain this to me. He is stuck in the future where nobody knows him yet, and he's still a boy. This would entirely alter the future time line of Terminator. If they knew they where coming back for sure than this would have been a good season finale, but since this was the last and they did nothing to answer questions I was very very disappointed. So can you tell me than IYO what the reasoning was behind the time jump for a series finale?

EDIT: Michael Ausiello is almost always correct with his insider info and usually knows a lot more than everybody else when it comes to reporting this stuff.

I'm not saying Michael Ausiello wrong. I hope he is wrong, but maybe he'll actually end up being right. My point is it is really pointless to bother posting things like this until Fox announces it officially. While I may be getting more aggravated over this stuff than I should, I believe my point is a valid one. Why do we need to read something that is purely speculation? It's not just you or Marine Mike though. I have done a news search on Yahoo yesterday and today to check on things people have said on here and all those sites basically report is this same thing over and over again.

I'm not looking to argue over eachother's opinion of the season finale. You are welcome to your opinion. I just couldn't understand why you would think that. That's all. They treated it as a season final and not a series finale, which was right in my opinion. You can't treat a season finale as a series finale unless you know it won't be back for sure the following season. Blame it on Fox more than anyone else.

I guess I was just bummed out by this after the PERFECT finale of NBC'S Life on Wednesday. They couldn't have handled it any better. They wrapped up a storyline that had been running 2 seasons, and they don't know if they are coming back so they made sure to answer some huge questions fans have had since the first episode but also left plenty to be explored over season 3 if they get it. I guess I shouldn't compare them, nothing could have topped Life's Season/Series finale.

I have lost all hope for Fox. They cancel most of the good shows, leave the crap on. This just leaves House, American Dad, Simpsons (and I don't hardly watch that any more) and Family guy. How much longer for House to get canceled or Family guy?

Way to go, Fox. You sent another good show to an early grave and left people hanging. Not like Fox cares though

The thing is, they really couldn't wrap up everything in a manner that wouldn't have felt rushed. There was too much to tie up in a roughly 42 minute episode. They threw a lot into that amount of time. Yes, the ending just created a bunch of other questions, but even so, it couldn't have been completely finished. If we don't get answers to all the unanswered questions, the only one to blame is Fox.

They seem to be using the same articles we are using. It is still just speculation.

Nothing is carved in stone until the fall season is announced.

The fact that the studio is empty could also mean they packed up and moved to Canada. Not every insider know all the inside information.
