Get a divorce then. The only way you can game full time again dude. Don't let your marriage interfere with what you're best at...that is if the wife gets custody of the console in the end, so its probably safer to stay married

The next Warhawk or whatever will need to remove base camping. Even though I played over 1,200 hours on 2 accounts with Warhawk, my biggest complaint was how many games became worthless. One side would simply sit there with Warhawks at the other side's lone spawn point.

If they would have spread out the home spawns some, this could be alliviated.

Oh, and no tanks or armored vehicles, so Cymbol has to stay out in the open.

I agree with the spawn camping, that was a pretty big issue. But tanks need to be in the game!

I liked Warhawk, but the loose aiming just turned me off from it completely. I'll definitely keep an eye on this.

Well, with Warhawk it didn't really matter how spread out the home spawns were - once they had all the other bases/planes - they just sat there and bombarded everyone with aircraft.

Later, a more evil tactic of base r@ping occurred - with flyers dropping off a person to steal your home planes too. At the very least, your home planes should only be accessible to your team - this would have been huge in giving teams a chance to get out and get a base back. . . that, and if people had half a freakin' brain.

I would always sneak out and get a base back - and I sit there saying, "I got a base, you need to spawn and take these planes" - and NO ONE spawns.

I rarely get in a tank these days - I'm still more of a ground person - but I'll get in a plane when needed, and actually manage to inflict some damage - instead of practicing aerial ballet.

Please... they just need to nerf mines when Cymbol lays them.

I'm tired of being a mine detector for Cymbol

Can't wait to get some official announcements surrounding Starhawk

Whatever. I always use use his own mines against him when he lays them down.

I really hope they keep the core gameplay. I was being a mine laying fool last night. I couldn't lay them down fast enough. People kept finding so quickly.

I do realize they are annoying - if the other team is losing badly, I tend to not put mines down (especially not on their planes/base camp) - tends to p!ss people off.

I don't think Starhawk will be THAT different from Warhawk.

Hope there is a beta for this.

Well there was a beta for the original Warhawk, so I am certain that there will be one for Starhawk. I'm hoping for about even bigger maps with 64 players and maybe a couple of new game modes. Not only that, but you could make your own decals on vehicles and you can trade them online. I want to see that sort of stuff in Starhawk.

I'm pretty sure that space is the only thing that could have made Warhawk better. I will totally flip sh!t if this ever comes out.

Yeah, the character costumes and decals are pretty freakin' limited.

Like I said, I hope they keep the same core gameplay - but just give us some cool/inventive weapons to use. Laser guns, EMP bombs, etc. and make some really cool worlds/environments. They could really be creative here. Hopefully, they are.

Mines were also my favorite weapon... if I'm not in a Warhawk, I'm using mines.

I still remember those matches where Cymbol and I were going at it, we were both on jetpacks laying mines around like crazy.
And I still remember that one mine kill I got on Cymbol... someone killed him and I had left a mine on that Jet Pack machine thingy, watching over it with a sniper rifle and I just saw his body fly in the air.

Yeah, you became about as annoying as I am with mines later on (you definitely became more of a flyer later - I remember you telling me you were a Miner also before going more into the pilot role). Even AlphaPyro got in on the mining action.

I'm not the best player so I have to rely on sabotage and strategy (strategy, meaning, stopping the flag carrier with well placed mines).

I thought it was funny how everyone learned to never land their plane on the ground to take my pack after they killed me - everyone in our Clan new me well enough to know that I ALWAYS had mines on me - and my last act before I died was to throw a mine down. Always fun to see someone come running up to grab your pack. . . and then go flying through the air, or a smug pilot land to take my pack and get blown to smithereens. There is simply nothing better.

Hope to see this game soon - it will be great to have everyone playing again.

AFAIK Incognito is no more (Jaffe, Campbell and Jobe left), the warhawk expansions were made by LBI and ESP is rumored to be developing Twisted Metal PS3, so who would be developing Starhawk? Best bet is LBI right now.

Really? Didn't know that. Did these two make specific packs (one make Omega and one make Broken Mirror, etc) - I liked Broken Mirror the best.
