Cheers is definitely one of my favorite shows.
In no particular order: Cheers The Wonder Years Six Feet Under Homicide: Life on the Streets The West Wing Pee-wee's Playhouse Cheers is one of the first "grown-up" shows I remember watching as a kid with my parents, so it has a certain nostalgic feel to it whenever I hear the theme song. ~~~~ Oh, and M*A*S*H ended 25 years ago, so I imagine you have to be a bit older than 29 to remember when it originally aired. |

Boy, did I love Pee-wee's Playhouse. I recently saw an episode and it was still kind of funny. Now that I'm grown-up, though, you really understand all the hidden/subtle meanings of the jokes that only adults will get.

![]() Cheers was pretty epic, though. Talk about a long-running series that was popular throughout its tenure on television, and it might be hard to top it. I'd say that M*A*S*H is generally recognized as the "best ever," but for my money I put Seinfeld up there; possibly the best in my book. |

While Cheers, Seinfeld and M*A*S*H were all great shows it's really just a matter of opinion. Personally I think Friends is the greatest sitcom ever and CSI (Las Vegas) was (the first 8 1/2 seasons) the greatest drama ever.
