I am a Mariners fan am I have big hopes for them this year (as always). I think they will do better than they did last year, they had some positive additions, especially with Chone Figgins, but they could still use hitting power - not many big bats (too bad they can't borrow some hitters from the Rangers). I am also worried about Lee, since he has already been injured, and after last year, I don't have much confidence in Bedard. But, they are starting with a clean slate, so don't disappoint me, M's!

Great game last night, Kotchman was on fire, and I'm loving the base stealing duo of Ichiro and Figgins. Too bad Ichiro's last steal was a bad call and he was safe. That ump last night didn't know the strike zone from his feet, terrible calls on Felix's great pitching all night. But a W is a great way to kick off the season.

Kotchman batting third is sheer lunacy. I despised him batting for the Braves...at the bottom of the lineup. I understand Griffey's special relationship with the Mariners, but they should have axed him from the roster. That move alone is going to end up costing the Mariners three or four wins.

Wow this is just sad................atleast Bradley finally started to prove himself, just too bad he stayed back to close to the wall............it's gonna be a long season.............
