Great actor yes. Over-acting at times? Damn Straight!! (There Will Be Blood, I thought was a bloated 2 1/2+ hour infomercial for LOOK AT ME ACT, WATCH HOW GREAT I CAN BE. Lol. He is a very good actor, great if you will, but IMO, that role was Over the top in Every damn scene almost. Maybe I just didn't get it. But he could prob. pull the Joker role off easily and would def. bring something very different to the table in that role.

Good point, sorry. They'd prob. both just decide to have a drink and talk things over instead.

Hell with Keifers' probation from last year's Drunk issues, and jail stay, he better Hope he doesn't go Back to jail now. Guy obv. can't handle his liquor it looks like.

Way to put the careers in jeopardy or on hold (for the 2nd straight year!) on the Huge cast/crew of your hit show for another possible few months Kiefer!

Resemblance has nothing to do with acting, despite all those awards given to actors in bio-pics just because the makeup department did a good job.

I'm all about bringing the Joker back for a Batman sequel , hes just so much more of a badass than any other villian in the Batman Realm.

LOL--have you watched the Batman Begins extras? Christian Bale trained for months in the strange type of combat (I forget what it is called right now) that Batman employs. Kiefer is a shrimp--much less than 5'10". Not even close...

Kiefer is a great actor, and just because Heath died doesn't make him some acting god who is untouchable in skill. Heath was a great actor, but not the world's best, so get over him already.

What an ignorant post. Just because he was a good actor doesn't mean he could approximate Heath's acting in Dark Knight. Guess what? Heath couldn't play Jack Bauer either. So just relax. I've probably seen Kiefer Sutherland in way more movies than you have.

All I'm saying is Joseph must have been good enough for Chris Nolan that he landed a role in "Inception".
No matter what happens, I hope for The Joker to return in the third.

anyone see his performance in Dark City?? he can definitely do roles outside of Bauer.

i think he would make a great joker...or better yet...riddler (since i'm not a fan of recasting)

Then why didn't you just say 'he's a good enough actor to merit the professional confidence of Nolan', or something like that, instead of repeatedly saying "he has a resemblance to Heath Ledger" (as if resemblance were important to acting)... I can only go by what you say, I don't read minds.

after watching so much 24 I couldn't get into him in the character of the joker; it would be like seeing through what I'm supposed to be watching
