Trully great episode! I do love the writing of this show.

this is one of the most well-written comedies ive ever seen, and last nights episode was great, even though i missed the last few minutes because a crazy storm knocked out the satellite

and he was saying that the mother was in that class, so it sounds like

^^ Yeah, sounds like it. Of course, as some of us know, just because you take a particular class doesn't necessarily mean that's your major.

this is true. but you usually dont take 300 level classes unless its a required part of your major or a related elective for said major, i thought the girl that he didnt take the question from was going to say it was a 305 class

It gave us the impression that she was, however, it could also be the other. We'll see.

GREAT SHOW! One of the best if not the best on TV!

It made me laugh a few times. Also, Alyson looked different. Better, but different. I dont know why.

I think the reason Alyson looked different is because she just had her baby in real life.

Good first episode for the season.

The part that made me laugh the most was when Ted was running around campus with his huge picture of the Empire State building with the music od Indy

w/old shows on tv @ night up this this week, me & the wife were watching the 1st 3 seasons of this on dvd for the last couple weeks.

can't wait to get season 4 on tuesday.

im sure its because she had her baby and is back to normal, and we arent seeing her in neck up shots, or in baggy clothes with big purses in front of her and everything, now im not really up on how the TV industry works behind the scenes, about how long do they have in between end of shooting for one season, and beginning of shooting for the next for an actress to get back in shape after having a baby?

great start into the new season. I laughed out loud when Marshall used the Whip in the apartment and screamed "LOVE !"

I think the baby was born in March, so that's plenty of time for a celebrity to get back in shape.

Doesn't look like Robin used the time wisely....

Shes always looked really good imo, but yes she looked even better last night. Her and Robin are both recently pregnant so theyre boobs are bigger too. Although Robin isnt as skinny as she was in S3.

i figured out why i love this show....esp. it's writing.

me & my wife finished watching the 3rd season on dvd and some of the dialogue goes like this:

"a gay couple w/o kids bought it....a G-CWOK!!"

"u bagged a G-CWOK, that's awesome!!"

and then in the one when barney makes a bracket of the women he's slept with and says he was @ the museum and everyone else in the group start guessing his real reason of being @ the museum.

the writing is just so subtle and so funny!!!

Agreed, the writing is spectacular (minus Season 4).

The March Madness thing with Barney was certainly one of the best.

Really, most everything involving Barney is funny.

Agreed, they work well together but Barney truly is the highlight of this show
