from one of the reviews and stuff like this does bother me as well. separates the James Cameron's from the McG's, imo. the grittiness is lacking

I REALLY think its going to be comparable to T1. Of course, my opinion is based off only having read the script and watched the trailers, promos, etc. But with Bale having ALOT of the creative control I think this could turn out to be a very enjoyable summer blockbuster. I LOVED LOVED T2 and thought it was unlike anything I had ever watched at the time. T3 is not worthy of the Terminator title. So I'm HOPING for a sequel on par with the original movie! Lets hope so!

Oh cmon thats what the movie review is about? What they look like? If the reviewer is gonna take that route why doesnt he/she bring up the fact that the cast is a fairly attractive bunch and what happened to regular looking people in the future

Nothing really is gonna beat T1...in my book T1 heralded the move towards movies like Matrix, I Robot and tv shows like Battlestar Galactica etc if you know what I mean. Still Cameron did do Piranha 2 before that and Jackson did Braindead before LOTR so who knows!

thats a problem for me. Did Kyle Reese look like a 25 year old supermodel with flawless teeth and not a pore on his body? Nope. He looked like he had seen much, much better days. It adds to the realism of the situation. And yes, I know "its only a movie", but at what point do you stop making excuses for pooly thought out entertainment?

Going to see this Thursday...I am disappointed by the reviews..but its okay, they never stopped me from going to see a film anyway.

And today there are technology there weren't back in 1984, so many things they said in that film is pretty far off...I think T:S should be viewed as a completely different film.

Only thing that I will miss...is the gritty feeling Cameron's films had...And yes..Linda Hamilton did not look like a supermodel..she looked like a fighter..

Besides Bale and Worthington..everyone in this movie look like models..they don't look like tragic flawed characters...

I don't mean to offend anyone but the people in this movie are

...nothing to do...helpless...
Not try to look sexy.

Yeah wow is right Will Smith is/was a rapper and showed he belongs in movies so of course I am going to mention him and yes QUEEN LATIFAH has shown that she belongs too. I guess an Oscar nom isn't good enough for you. Too bad. You state that rappers don't belong in movies and I gave you two. The rest of those you named obviously did and still doing something right because they keep getting roles in movies, in some cases big movies. So saying they don't belong doesn't quite add up right now. Sounds like poor little MCT didn't get that autograph from his favorite rapper so now he taking it all out on their acting.

I also notice how you failed to mention LL Cool J, Ice Cube, 2Pac, Eminem, Mos Def, Mark Wahlberg(oh yeah that's right), Ice T. Some of these rappers(Nelly, Raekwon, Treach) you mentioned barely got any screen time or were in horrible films to begin with or were in one, two movies at the most. Nice reach there. Like I said GMAFB.
