Here's what the audience didn't see: I attended this taping in person. Jordan's full response, when he was asked why he chose a song so unsuited to him, was that he was "offered" it. It was not his choice, but he did the best he could with it. However, this comment was edited out of Tuesday's broadcast. So did producers set up Jordan, who'd been difficult during Hollywood Week, to be the fall guy, by making him do a tricky song that not even Usher himself can sing well live? If so, their plan worked. Jordan is doomed.

Yea man the talent is crazy this year. The best Ive seen for sure. I havnt watched every season but from what Ive seen its the best. Got Em!!

Yea I know u like Jovany but he is just ok to me nuthin special. As for Durbin dude is good and I may actually like him better than Lambert but then again I dont care for Lambert either. Dude Jacob is a superstar in the making and will be a hit after this show is over no doubt! Dude is unbelievable in my book. Casey is alo very good and I dont know how u cant see that? Different ears I guess lol. Got Em!!

Tonight is EXACTLY why it should NOT be divided between guys/girls (before or at this point).

Because if it wasn't most of the people going home would be from the guys imo.

The girl who strutted around after taking off her robe thing was the only one I thought was bad.

Pia absolutely KILLED it. If everyone stays how they are now, Pia and Jacob could easily be the Final Two.


I would send home (I'm even worse with their names):

The first girl

The second girl

The third girl

The one who strutted around

Julie (she was okay, but that wasn't good enough this week)

The blonde chick with the raspy voice



But if it was just picking the Top 12 period, the only ones I'd be sending home from the girls are the raspy voice chick, the strutter and the second girl.

No doubt he is VERY good, but to put him that high on the list is ludicrous imo. At this point at least. He's got some more proving to do to be worthy of saying anything like that. Of course for me, it would take a miracle to change my opinion of the best two the show has ever had.

Those techniques and sounds Reinhart was making were very odd. You could make a compilation video out of them.

Ok as I have been sayin the talent pool this year is the best Ive seen. My take for tonight:

Ta-Tynisa Wilson - Didnt care for it and didnt come close to the original.

Naima Adedapo - Not bad but a bit loungy but still decent.

Kendra Chantelle - Very good and I wasnt a big fan of hers going into the top 24.

Rachel Zevita - Terrible and she will be going home.

Karen Rodriguez - Very good performance.

Lauren Turner - It was nice but I wasnt feeling as much as the judges were.

Ashthon Jones - Damn good and she performed the song better than Monica did.

Julie Zorrilla - Great song but bad execution.

Haley Reinhart - I dont remember much so that isnt a good thing but I dont remember it being terrible.

Thia Megia - She is a true singer and gave a very good performance.

Lauren Alaina - Good as always and boy is she a looker to and very stacked!

Pia Toscano - Well do I need to say anything about her? She and Lauren Alaina were my two fav's goin in and they still are but wow Pia blew it up and she is gorgeous as well.

Oh yea just sumthin I am noticing. As much as I love Steven Tyler, I think dude is to nice and pretty much likes everyone. He is pulling an Ellen although he is much better than Ellen but he just seems to love everyone. Also what I noticed lastnight is sometimes he doesnt seem to know what to say at times and repeats himself a lot. If yall notice he always went first as Randy use to sitting in the 3rd chair but they switched it up and I think he didnt want to go first anymore and needed to react off the other judges. Just sumthin I noticed.

J-Lo seems in a zone and is doin very well. Randy is Randy but he seems to be goin a bit of the Simon route and getting a bit tougher but I have pretty much agreed with Randy's opinion for the most part so far. Hopefully Steve settles in because he was very good during auditions and Hollywood week. Got Em!!

They always alternate who goes first.

Say Steven starts, next time JLO goes first, then the next time Randy, etc.

I think he's doing fine; he's been harsh when he didn't like something but when he likes it why would he try to come up with something negative if he thought it was good?
