AC2 is one that I hope I get time for. I'm not confident.

Question: So, I'm in the Brecilian Forest, and you know the quest about finding the items hidden by the Tevinter Mage (quest acquired earlier)? Well, I've found all but one item. But my suspicion

[Show spoiler] is that the Mad Hermit has one of those items, perhaps the helmet he offers for trade at the beginning of your encounter with him. But, after trading for the stupid acorn, he no longer wants to talk, and I pulled some other crap out of his tree stump. I expect I no longer can get this item due to my choices. Am I correct? I'm not about to go back to the initial Hermit encounter, since I've gone and fought all the damn Revenants since then and I'm deep into the ruins by now.

[Show spoiler] have you gotten past the fog? there's another revenant after the fog. all you need from the hermit is the accorn.

Right. And the that one is sealed behind a door that requires a puzzle to be solved. There is a codex that lays it all out for you. If'n you need help, I can tell you what to do.

Good, good! I was about to waste my time running around on a boondoggle and re-upping save games. I wasn't sure, if the ruins should still be considered the "forest". No big spoilers necessary at this time, then.

Well, if that's the case, I can not find the fourth item.

[Show spoiler] I have killed the Revenants that are summoned at all three gravestones in the forest. My quest list still shows that I need to find one more item. If the one in the ruins is not part of the four, then I'm out of luck.

Sorry for the confusion. The one is the ruins is part of the Mage's treasure quest and is also a seperate quest called The elven ritual quest.

Confusion is gone. Quests are obviously (now) interrelated. On to Orzammar!

Out of curiosity, in Ortan Thaig, when you finish the Asunder quest, what do you get

When selecting active quest you want to work on from my quest list, is it not suppose to show the arrows on the mini map of where to go?, i pick a quest and there is a arrow on the mini map but its not for the quest i want to be doing?

no. The arrows will show any quest you have open in the area you're in.

Okay Now! I am at a loss. I'll keep on, but I've tried it a lot of times doing different things. I'm getting close to the Anvil of the Void. I'm at the rotating statue surrounded by spirit anvils that spawns forgotten and enraged spirits. Is there a puzzle here? The spirits just keep coming and coming and coming, and eventually I just can't survive, because it goes on so long. I know there is something to do with the anvils, but I'm not sure what.

You kill a spirit, click on the anvil. rinse and repeat. every time you do it, there should be fewer spirit until you destroy the statue. Word of advice, your tank should be the only one in the circle and everyone else should be attacking from outside that circle.
