Not really. Though some characters are in their "proper" place (including Mickey since "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" was in both films), Donald Duck is on the left even though he only appeared in Fantasia 2000; Hyacinth Hippo is on the right even though she only appeared in the original. (There may be others; I'm not 100% familiar with the characters.)

umm Iam confused why that even matters seeing as how the font for the individual titles is so small on the cover and not even in the center themselves.
I think the way the FANTASIA 2 movie collection dominates the cover haveing characters from both spread through out makes sense as its the
FANTASIA movie collection.
wow though i must be missing something.

Well, I'm not joking, but it's not like I'm not dead serious either. I mean I know it's just cover art, but sometimes I can't help but nitpick the little things. Don't get me wrong, I'm still getting it first day no matter what the packaging looks like. Even if they change the cover art for the worse every day from now until the release.

So what are these Disney Coupons I keep hearing about? How do you get them? Cause I want Fantasia, and if I could save a few bucks. That would be just so great.

For the past 10 or so big releases by Disney, they have released coupons and they are posted on their Disney Movie Rewards website, even though you don't need an account to get the coupons. They are usually $10 off the Blu-ray and $5 off the DVD.

There is no confirmation that this release will get coupons, but we can hope.

After re-watching the Fantasia preview that was trying to pump us up for this release, looks like a few things have changed. The preview states "Diamond Editions" as if to say we're getting a separate release for each, plus "Fantasia World". Three releases was the original plan, now pared down to 1 since Fantasia World appears to have been axed?

PS: Where the hell is Dumbo Region-A already!?

Mexico and Japan. It's Dumbo USA that is nowhere to be found and for no good reason.

Live-action movies and Pixar films are generally region free. The animated classics are generally region-locked.

What about Disney's Blu-ray Upgrade site?
Haven't heard about it in a while, and not sure if it's maintained, but the Toy Stories and Snow White were eligible, and it's too early to list B&B or Fantasia.

(Although not sure whether you can use both the $8 and any $10 coupon together.)

The restoration clips are astounding. Fantasia will look better than it ever has. I remain fairly concerned about the lack of bonus features. One part of me thinks Disney is holding back for an eventual re-release, perhaps even for BR 3-D. Another part dares to hope there is more here than has been announced.

Oh, well...I still have the anthology DVD box set to supplement the new restoration, however things turn out.

Since people are concerned about a few aspects of this release, I think we should start keeping our ears open for the differences in the international versions. We of course won't have an answer today.

Here's what it may possibly be, based on loose info.

USA
4 disc set with limited features - likely more on BD Live

UK
Similar set, but with features on discs

Germany
Blu-ray/DVD combo of Fantasia, same extras as US version
Blu-ray/DVD combo of Fantasia 2000, same extras as US version

Dumbo is released in Europe too. I've owned it for months (bought it in March or April) and I live in Norway.
