Not buying it! This franchise and really all Slasher film reboots and such are always a massive cock tease. I'll believe it when I see it!

Yep same thing happened with Halloween, was supposed to start shooting last summer, but it never happened.

I don't know what is more impressive, forty years on and we're still trying to make slasher sequels or the fact that forty years on it now takes almost a decade to get the films released, rather than just ten minutes.

Huh? She thought her son drowned. We never see that he is alive in the original film. It shows flashbacks of him struggling in the water and drowning. We dont know how he survived or the scenario. She clearly thought he drowned and thus went crazy. Got Em!!

Those flashbacks you speak of occurred 21 years prior to the events depicted in Friday part 1.

Which would mean that Jason, unbeknownst to Pamela Voorhees, has been alive and well and running around Camp Crystal Lake for 21 years.

But she still thinks he's dead.

Even by horror movie standards...that's absurd.

Still don't understand the hold up. Put Hodder in a hockey mask and a machete. Add teenagers in the woods at camp. One day maybe we hope.

Saw a thing on the web about a movie called I think Death House with the characters Freddy, Jason, Pinhead, Leatherface, and Myers in it. Probably would be kind of goofy but would like to see it any way.

I am all for a new Jason movie. I don't care who plays him Hodder gets all the fame but he was in the WORST films in the franchise.

My favourite Jason is from part 2 and from part 4 so I really don't get the love for Hodder seeing as he played neither of those Jason's. Nothing beats sackhead Jason although I appreciate that the majority of fans prefer the hockey mask.
