I lived in Europe and it ain't no heyday over there either. It's kind of the same everywhere really, if you're in New York or Paris metro area then you're good, if you're not then uh oh. Also Europe has more caps usually. Either way though I don't see internet restrictions stopping a switch to streaming/download media. Corporations want to kill physical media, so they'll make exceptions if needed.

My Wifi at home never gets above 6 and averages around 2.5 for 45$ a month so I don't want hear anybody complaining about Wifi if we're comparing how bad it is.

Damn, this was just beautiful.

Made my remastered BD look like VHS in comparison. Maybe an exaggeration, but still...stunning!

Haha, mine was looking like a chinese bootleg with people in the background getting up to use the bathroom compared to the UHD. But yeah, agreed.

The scene that instantly comes to mind for me is the DS9 episode "The Visitor" where we see future Jake show Sisko the books he wrote:

There are some random other examples like the library in Enterprise but that is the most obvious one.

And yes... I know Star Trek is not reality. But I think physical media will always be around in some form.

First the bad news, the beginning looked a bit rough in some spots, some of the effects shots didn't age well at all. The halos can be quite strong. Some shots felt overly dark, missing shadow detail, and some felt overly harsh bright like some of the diva shots. A bit wacky with the contrast from shot to shot.

The good news is the colors, detail and sound. Color better than ever. Love that golden hue. Also a nice jump in detail. You can really make out the facial details. The pot marks on the faces, the freckles. You could also really see Leeloo better when she would strip off her clothes in the background as everyone turned around.

Sound wise, the Atmos track stands quite well against modern tracks.

Overall a nice addition and the best version out there in detail by a mile.

This is on back order on wow hd. Plus what's their policy with shipping charges if the item is over £15? Is there the possibility I'll get caught with custom penalties?

Thanks, I'm sold.

They and others have been burned by overproducing, so now they wait for demand trying but failing to do just in time production.
