And some stores will give you a hard time with the coupon. Sometimes, it's just easier to pay the extra $5-10.

Not the Best Buys, Targets, Walmarts, or other major department or electronics stores, which are where most people go for these releases when they choose to go to a B&M store.

I would give them a hard time right back if that happened........I have never had an issue using these Disney coupons.

I'd guess Nemo is coming with Cars 2 in the fall. Wonder if it's possible there will be an advertisement of it on the Incredibles blu? Doubt it but...

I used it once for Toy Story 1 & 2 and the cashier reacted as if I handed her a foreign object. She had to get the manager's ok before she honored it.

I actually consider myself lucky that they even accepted it. My friend used these coupons once before and his Best Buy REFUSED to honor it. So he was screwed and couldn't do anything about it.

That would be another 30-45 minute drive for him. With gas prices today, he was better off just paying the extra $10 or so. Many people here have had no trouble redeeming their Disney coupons, but just keep in mind that not all stores are the same way. And frankly, I don't blame them. If they don't read the fine print carefully, the store won't get reimbursed if they accept it when they're not supposed to. So, stores need to be cautious when accepting these coupons.

Any word on the coupon for this yet? I am sure with the coupon this title will come in ~$15 out of pocket give or take a little

The major stores should be well informed on how these Disney coupons work by now. It's not like Disney offers them every once and a while, they offer them for every movie. I am sure because of that they deal with a ton of them so my advice would be learn how to correctly accept it and make the customer happy. I know if my store gave issue I would ask for the manager right away because major stores have to do what corporate wants them to do not what they would like to do.

exactly, the stores are just distributors of content, disney makes the rules (in this case). personally, i'm not in favor of the "asking to see the manager attitude', as it makes me feel like the bad guy, but in some cases (like this one) it's definitely the way to go

This movie is in my Gold Box for $28.49, should I even bother pre-ordering it?

If they drop the price to, say, $22.99 next week, then do you know if I still receive the 5% Goldbox discount? (aka, how the Goldbox discount interacts with the Amazon Preorder Guarantee)

You'll still get the Gold Box discount if the price drops, but it will be 5% off the lower price.

I pre-ordered it for the same price in my gold box as well. However if they don't issue a coupon it's a no sale. Not sure how that would work either with an existing order and a sale on Amazon. Typically though I think the Disney coupons on Amazon have been a decent time in advance of the release and I'm thinking there won't be one for this release.
