Cost and COVID precluded more interviews for this disc, I'm afraid. And, getting Dern wasn't easy.

He's a treasure and he's not getting any younger. He's only done one of these before that I know of: SILENT RUNNING and that was over 20 years ago.

The Maron interview is great, I agree.

I've never seen Smile, but I jumped on the preorder. I think this weekend will be my first time viewing of Jeremy. These movies are out of my normal horror-centric wheelhouse, but after how much I enjoyed Alphabet City and I Start Counting, I'm happy to take a chance on some unfamiliar films - and support FCE!

I just noticed Walking the Edge on the FCE site. It's another flick I'm not familiar, but with a cast including Robert Forster and Joe Spinell I'm definitely paying attention now!

I've bought every Fun City release from VS, so of course I had to pre-order Smile earlier. I would never pass up the Mike McPadden booklet, or a vintage Colleen Camp movie.

I also included I Start Counting which I've never seen but as it stars Jenny Agutter it is a no-brainer for me.

Dern is a big fan of the same sports radio show out of Los Angeles that I listen to most everyday. He's made personal appearances on the show a few times and sat for long interviews and commentary with the two hosts. He comes off being such a terrific dude.

I imagine you will love I Start Counting: I honestly can’t imagine anyone not, and the entire presentation on the FCE disc is really stellar.

I’m confident I’ll return to it again soon too. That was a great purchase!

That's awesome. The guy is clearly full of stories and loves telling them. We got tons of stuff that didn't fit into the interview proper, but will do some postings of outtakes to our social media channels.

I'm smiling as well... Radio On is on the way! (pun intended)

This is a truly great film, with great music. A road movie through pre-Thatcher England with beautifully photographed industrial landscapes. A wonderful time capsule.

(May actually pick up Smile as well, but Radio On has me really excited. I hope it sells well)

Have you ever considered adding Parker Posey’s 1995 NYC indie film Party Girl to your repertoire? Would LOVE to see it on Blu-ray.
