WOTW has got the emergence scene and a few other that are good but with LOTR there's crazy LFE when a leaf hits the ground almost. LOL...it's crazy.

Set the crossover all the way to max....The y splitter won't benefit you on the PA...you've only got one "in" on the pa.

LOTR has some good LFE throughout like that but nothing that matches the extremely low subsonic bass during the pod emergence scenes and while the pods roam the countryside. The battle for middle earth scenes in the ROTK at Minas Tirith and the plains below it where the hugh elephants join in the battle, their rampage shakes my living room a great deal. Then at end of ROTK when Mordor sinks back into the earth after the Ring is destroyed there is some awesome bass. Either way, anyone having two PA 120s will surely get a kick in the chest from WOTW or LOTR.

How did you get Valkyrie for $10.95? Or was that before shipping?

Valkyrie, for being a mostly dialogue driven movie, does have some spectacular scenes to test your subwoofers: the opening attack on the German armor battalion in northern Africa, the drums during the Luftwaffe escorting Hitler's plane along with the roaring, rumble of the planes, the Allies bombing Berlin (this one rattled my living room), and the Wolf's Lair explosion.

BTW, that price is a real steal. I paid $19.99 for mine when it was on sale.

Valkyrie is the one that almost blew the wall scroll off the wall with my PA-120 during the Wolf's Lair bit.

Great movie- that and Leon both get my vote!

Yes, it has been up near or above $20 Forever. Mine is thru a 3rd party at Amazon, freight was $2.98. Those scenes you mention; I can't Wait to see my Dual PA-120's give me another dose of .

Leon' (The Professional) is an All-time Classic, one of my favorite movies ever in that genre'.

Watched 3 movies yesterday: Transformers: ROTF, Iron Man, & Inside Man (w/Denzel W.) -- Read about them HERE.

Some of the intense action sequences in ROTF were Very Very Impressive with the Dual PA-120 Subs. That said, Iron Man was Outstanding with the 2 Subs. Yes, the well-talked about Cave Escape scene, but much more than that. My post linked above, explains in detail what I heard & Felt!

Hi everyone. I just ordered the PA-12O from Sound Distributors.

For those of you who may have ordered from them, about how long did it take to get it?

I was looking at the pics posted by Aramis; can anyone confirm that there is an output to chain another sub? The pic looked like there was one input and one output

I live in PA.

Thanks.

EDIT: Also, I'm not sure if this is correct yet, but I don't think they charged me shipping. I selected Amazon Payments for payment, and although there was a $29 shipping charge on the sound distributors page, the shipping was set to 0.00 when I placed the order.

They shipped both mine within two days after ordering. I got them within a week after that.

Yes, that's right. There is one and only one input. The other jack is an output so you can hook up another sub if you prefer to do it that way. I didn't. My Yamaha AVR has two subwoofer outputs. I don't think it matters though which way you do it.

I already ordered a splitter for the back of my receiver as I wasn't sure this sub had an output for another sub.

Now that I will have the option, what is the best way to hook up both subs? Use the splitter and run one cable to each sub, or just use the output of the PA-120 for the second sub...or doesn't it make a difference?

Thanks for the info.

Could anyone that already owns the PA-120 please possibly give me a ball-park diameter of the air-port in the back?

Much thanks.
