I work at Best Buy...I'll check it out at work tomorrow and try to report back what I find!
I already know from looking at the SKU's that the one that with the higher price tag will only be sold online, not in stores.

Maybe I need to take another peek at the DVD.

I feel like the design is pretty basic and I just don't see it benefiting like Cars & the Rat did on HD.

That said, if it comes out on Blu-ray, I'm definitely upgrading!
the DVD was high-frequency filtered, and falls far below 480p capability despite all the praise folks seem to lavish on this Disney DVD. I obtained a screener copy of the DVD that was sent out before the commercial disc, and it was shockingly more detailed than the production DVD that followed months later. In fact, if you look at some of the movie shots in the (16x9) special features on the commercial set, they're much crisper and more detailed than the same scenes in the feature film!

Disney had a habit of filtering high-frequency detail on DVD, so did Miramax. Hopefully this blu-ray disc will be a turn-around for this title.

nope...if anything it most likely would be an ironpack. but no news of that. i wont say there never will be, but as of now no there is not.

Also, dont know if you guys know or care, but the purchase of this Incredibles combo pack or the Cars Re-release that comes out the same day will BOTH include a free movie ticket to Cars 2. there's pictures of them on the bottom of the tangled DMR coupon. can provide a pic if needed.

Not interested in the Cars re-release but will use the Cars 2 ticket for sure, even if I have to sneak healthy food in with me to the movie.

Healthy food in a movie theater!? It goes against every law of physics. It's like crossing the streams in Ghostbusters. You'll rip the very fabricate of the universe apart.

I have to eat often because of my diabetes and theatre food is bad for you so most likely I will have to sneak in some healthy stuff, the most I've snuck in before is soda.

I can't imagine there not being a steelbook/ironpack. There's one for every Pixar release to date.

The Best Buy website has two versions listed erroneously.
I let Best Buy corporate know about it, and it should be fixed eventually.
I checked our stock system at Best Buy (I work for the company)
and the one that is more expensive is an online only SKU.

AFAIK there is no Best Buy exclusive version of The Incredibles in our system.

Just placed my order on Amazon together with Cars since I never owned it on blu.If you order both you get $10 off Incredibles I also have $10 worth of promo left on my account so that's $20 off for both movies. So total that I'm paying for both is $34.98. I'm sure my total will change (lower) cause come close to release date I'm sure the price will decrease especially for Incredibles cause right now it's at $29.99.

There'll have to be a steelbook release for The Incredibles eventually. I can wait.

£30 for a blu-ray, no thanks, what a rip off.

This is so over-priced everwhere at the moment.
