That news is and the details are very vague on Léa Seydoux's role in the film. Only that she will have a prominent role in the new Bond film. This is according to Slashfilm.com. Just love how some sites are reporting this as solid news when very ltitle is known about it:

I have not seen that film nor do I want to so I'll take your word for it I guess.

Any particular reason you're avoiding it? It's (arguably) the best Mission: Impossible film to date and a hell of a thrill ride.

I'd probably put III ahead of it, but it's a damn great action movie.

I avoid Tom Cruise movies.

Mission: Impossible III was the last movie of his I've seen where he had a starring role. The last movie featuring him period I've seen is Tropic Thunder.

Had no idea Ralph Fienns was in this. Also love that Sam Mendes is reuniting with Daniel Craig for this considering Skyfall was the best James Bond film I've ever seen.

The ending of Skyfall made it pretty clear that Ralph Fiennes was going to return.

Well, if you've seen the ending to Skyfall, you would assume that once it's revealed what Ralph Fiennes' role would be going forward, he would have to be signed on to at least one more Bond film to have some type of continuity. The same goes for Naomie Harris who plays Moneypenny.

And I agree with you on Skyfall's ranking. It's in my top 5, maybe even top 3 Bond films. Mendes+Craig=
