That's interesting, I didn't know there were two different cuts. From what I've quickly read online it seems there isn't much difference aside from the language.

I've seen the English version twice. Once years ago on vhs and it looked like it had been soaked in brine. Honestly I couldn't glean anything from that viewing. I was on a huge Bronson kick and I was just pillaging this local video store. Their selection of Bronson films was immense.

Then I had the good fortune to see a beautiful 35mm print of Rider On The Rain just last year. Needless to say it was an entirely different experience from the vhs. Ideally we would get both English and French versions on blu-ray. I'd have a hard time watching Bronson dubbed by someone else, but I'd be curious to see it. Part of Bronson's appeal is the strange inflection of his voice. He's a star who's weirdness is massively underrated.

I have to rate Once Upon A Time In The West as my #1 Bronson flick. I don't really do lists, but it's a clear favorite for me. Few films have ever had such a profound effect on me. It turned me from a casual fan of cinema into a rabid maniac. I would never look at film the same way again.

After that I would have to put Rider On The Rain as my #2. It's just so refreshing to see Bronson in a Rene Clement film with a decidedly different sensibility from the usual American action fare. Plus Marlene Jobert! She's so damn cute. Great score by Francis Lai as well. What more can I say? It's a gatdamn classic. Some brilliant label has to do the movie gods work and put this gem out.

Indeed. We need a collector's edition with both cuts. The English cut for Bronson, and the French cut for the majority of the other actors.

By the way, Bronson and Marlene Jobert met each other again at the César Ceremony in France back in 1984.

Every so often Bruce realises his career has been a pile of shit for twenty years, and you get a brief glimpse of 80s cocky dynamic Bruce, then he reverts to no facial muscles Bruce

^Totally! I miss me the MOONLIGHTING, DH 1 & 2 Bruce, he was so charming and fun. Now he's like the greeter at a morgue.

If ever I begin to forget how great Bruce used to be, I stick on The Last Boy Scout.

Is that the new "Stone Killer" cover art?
http://i.imgur.com/qIulPZS.jpg

On Facebook they said it´s the cover of the brochüre.

I like this cover more than the cover art they will use for the front cover.

It's the booklet cover, inside the case.

This seems to be a point of contention here, however you are correct, it is 1080i at 50 cycles.

"You can´t win `em all" is a less known Bronson film in which Tony Curtis was with him.

It´s not a good film but I´m wondering who owns the rights to release the film on blu-ray?

The only DVD out there from Spain is a rubbish laserdisc port, with audio sync issues. Do wonder if there's rights/public domain issues with it.

No; the disc is progressive, just flagged interlaced to match the soundtrack. There is absolutely no motion-judder whatsoever.

Still waiting on the release, but - any word on whether the new UK Stone Killer will really be Region B as the site has it currently? Other Indicator releases (I was just checking out The Front) have been region free and BRDC has their "Front" release as looking better than the Twilight Time version.

I'm getting a feeling of déjà-vu:

Since it's still unreleased (6-26-17), why the region-free confidence?
