I have been having the exact same issue with my X and new LG C7 OLED. I bought a new cable hoping that's the fix because sending in my Scorpio or getting my tv serviced are things I'd rather not do.
In my case it started with the screen going black with audio still playing but I did not get a NO SIGNAL display. I turned the panel off and then back on and it was fine. Second time I had both audio and video cut out repeatedly for a couple of minutes. Then last night it happened and it finally said NO SIGNAL. Pulling the HDMI from the panel and plugging it back in fixed it. Every time this happens for a split second right when it happens it looks like a brief "snow" screen like tv's used to do with no signal. It's really sudden but I know when that happens the signal is going out. I've played both my PS4 Slim and Switch without problems. My satellite box has also never exhibited this. I'm going to try it on one of the other inputs before my new cable comes but it's been frustrating so far. Also to note I've never had to restart the Xbox as it seems to keep chugging away just fine while there's no signal. |

Even if I run the cable straight from the PS4 to the TV, I sometimes get no signal and have to continually try to re-establish the handshake (turn tv on and off, switch inputs, etc) to get a signal. I'm using an LG Oled. At one point LG and Sony were blaming each other and supposedly LG said they had a problem and were going to fix it, but nothing ever changed. |

Update on the handshake issue I was having with my PS4 Pro,
I have now tried multiple HDMIs that I already owned all with the same result, I even tried it on another 4K TV (Panasonic) and had the same trouble, so decided to buy a brand new "High Speed" cable as a last resort. And believe it or not I haven't had any issues since using it. I don't know why it made a difference since I'm sure I was using the HDMI cable that came with the Pro, I'd have thought that would have been rated for 4K out of the box but who knows ![]() I'm just glad the issue is gone, was starting to get really annoying having to boot in to safe mode everytime I wanted to turn the PS4 on. |

Ahh well you're lucky. I've tried premium certified cables and it makes no difference. It only happens when I'm trying to do 4K output, so I often set it to force 1080p unless I'm playing a game where I care about maxxing out the resolution.

If you just use the backup utility you can still use it on a PC as I have done it (not that you can do anything useful on your PC with the files the the PS4 puts on there, but you could use it to store other files from a PC). If you use it as external storage for your PS4 to use on the fly, well I haven't tried it but it sounds like that doesn't work based on Bodyslide's link.

Hey guys, hope someone here can help me out if you’ve had the same issue. So a couple weeks ago my controller started randomly disconnecting about 15-20 minutes after turning on my PS4. So I took it to a repair shop and they replaced the Bluetooth chip from what I hear its usually the solution when that happens..? But it still has the same issue

Not sure if you had the bluetooth replaced in the controller or system but try out another controller. If it works fine then that will rule out the system being the issue. If you don't have another controller pressing the reset button on the one you have (its small and back by the L2 trigger. A paper clip is good for this) and plugging it in to your system with a cable would be a good way to re-establish a connection.
Here's a good tutorial from SONY. https://support.us.playstation.com/a...roubleshooting |

I'm at a loss as to what to suggest to be honest.
1. Tried multiple controllers 2. Changed blue tooth board on PS4 I guess the only way is to play with the controller wired full time? I know you said they reconnect when you restart the console, but have you left them plugged in all the time and see if you still get an issue? Could be a memory problem? |

Wait.....so the controllers disconnect in wireless and wired modes? That doesn't sound like your antenna in the system at this point, it sounds like interference. Have you changed your setup at all before this started a couple weeks ago?
From what I'm reading, only the controllers with the lightbar on the top of the touchpad can go truly wireless and even this has to be enabled in the devices menu so there's a chance your controllers are still running in wireless mode. |
