Still haven't gotten them in, surprisingly. I received a new release box today and got SUPER excited, but there was only random riff raff inside. A new season of Castle, Hawaii Five-O, some modern Scream Factory junk, and a Robin Williams movie. Hopefully we get them tomorrow.

getting a little worried my best buy won't have that many on the shelves but I will be there before the doors open so hopefully i'll be alright. also have 5 bucks in rewards $ so getting it for 14.99 even feels better. I'm watching this as soon as I get home and I can't remember the last movie i did that for.

Just pre-ordered this for in store pick-up. I was kind of surprised that they weren't sold out by now. Either way, I'm never taking part in that morning rush again. Between customers being allowed to buy too many copies for "themselves" and store employees hiding them, it's just not worth it.

hoping for this too, I live right down the street from one and I'm going first thing in the morning to get Metal Gear Solid 5 for PS4 anyway (which I know they will have tons of)

Ok, who's going to hide in the Best Buy restroom on Monday night at closing, sleep in there the whole night and emerge from said restroom to snag a Mad Max:Fury Road steelbook?
Just the fact that this idea briefly crossed my mind shows I'm a disturbed individual.

Something to remember, with two high profile video games coming out on Tuesday 9/1, chances are Best Buy stores will be doing midnight launches for them, and here on the west coast, Best Buy has done away with midnight launches, instead you can pick up at 9:01pm on Monday evening so in this case 8/31.

You may want to talk to your local store, ask if they are doing a midnight release (12:01am eastern time on 9/1 and 9:01pm pacific time on 8/31) for the games "Mad Max" and "Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain". If so, then ask since they doing it if they will allow people to purchase Mad Max on Blu-ray, in particular the steelbook at the same time as well. Just a thought....

Fingers crossed that I get me a copy. Im going to be there as soon as they open. Now I'm thinking, If I cant cop a steel then Im going to hold off on a regular copy till black friday.

That's what I'm thinking too. I've noticed in NC, most people pretty much only care about college sports. Movies seem to be a distant second, considering the amount of stock that is always sitting on shelves. I've never had a problem swiping up a steelbook.

Unless I'm receiving a glitch, it appears that the steelbook pre-orders have sold out, and that Best Buy hasn't updated listing to reflect this.
