I've got to agree with you there. When SC was winning national titles the sidelines were full of celebrities, but once they were on probation all the celebrities ditched them except for Will Ferrell (probably the only celebrity SC fan that actually graduated form SC).

L.A., in general, is a bandwagon town. I've seen Dodger fans become Angel fans (especially lately), and Laker fans (briefly) become Clippers fans when "Lob City" was "cool." I've seen Rams fans become Raiders fans and Kings fans become Ducks fans (and vice versa, especially this past season).

I'm an SC alumnus. I could never jump on your bandwagon this year (nor last year just after you beat Texas) nor any year. The only ucla games that I've ever gone to was when they were playing USC.

Other than Will Ferrell (a USC alumnus), they've all jumped on the Oregon bandwagon (thank God!).

I wouldn't expect sc fans to jump on Ucla bandwagon but our success or even Pac 12 success goes a long way to help you guys too.

For strength of schedule reasons, I hope that Notre Dame, UCLA, and Oregon win every game up until they meet the Trojans. Having excellent records and high rankings are much better for these rivalries than being a doormat. Unfortunately, ucla was a doormat under Dorrell and Neuheisel; the jury's still out on Mora Jr.

Especially Oregon. I could see a scenario where Oregon beats USC in the regular season then they play each other again in the Pac-12 title game with the winner making the national championship game. Then again maybe not since the BCS (especially Coaches poll) has always hates USC.
